And sure enough, the people in the lobby, on the street, they all seemed to melt away, giving way for Atlas Steele in his black coat and Elara Harrington in a tailored charcoal dress from her own collection. A long black SUV waited at the curb, engine idling, two more of Atlas’s men already in position. Atlas held a door open, surveying the street as she got in. He whispered something to one of his guards behind him before he followed. Once the doors closed and Curt pulled into traffic, Elara said, “What do you mean by I’ve got a lot of enemies, I haven't harmed anybody.” Atlas looked amused for a second. “You don't need to ‘harm’ anyone to create foes. Merely getting married to me makes you

Two apex predators fighting for dominance, for her. Elara refused to stay back. She shifted and dove into the fray, her golden wolf form glowing like a beacon. Power surged through her with every strike. She tore through enemy wolves with unnatural strength, her claws leaving trails of golden light that burned like fire. Warriors who saw her rallied, fighting harder. But Darius's forces were relentless. An Ironfang beta blindsided her, slamming her into the ground. Jaws snapped inches from her throat. She twisted, raking claws across his belly and rolling free. Blood sprayed hot across her fur.

“Do you think you are worthy of me? You are nothing. You are a stain in this pack. You don’t even deserve to stand before me.” “Alpha, please,” I whispered. “I didn’t ask for this…” “Silence!” His voice broke through my words like thunder. “You think the Moon made a mistake? She must have gone blind to choose you! I reject you, Elera. I, Alpha Damon of Blood Fang Pack, reject you with all that I am!” The air broke and pain cuts filled my chest and then I screamed and fell to the ground, my heart felt like it was tearing apart, the mark on my arm turned black and burned hot andI smelt my own skin burning.

Beneath it: ELIAN. I tried to do what Dad always recommended during a crisis. Separate what I knew from what I feared. What I knew was simple. The human woman standing in front of us was Harper Vale. She had arrived in Saint River three weeks earlier to investigate irregularities in adoption records. She had no known supernatural background. She had reported two officials for altering minors’ files and, according to Liv, had refused three invitations to work with Bridges of Life because she insisted on maintaining institutional independence. What I feared was much bigger.

He leaned down and kissed me, a slow, deep seal of a bond that had been forged in fire and tempered in ice. As the Hallowed Army began their journey home, led by the Trinity of the Dawn, the North finally began to breathe. I was Elara, the illegitimate daughter of a dead Alpha. I was the mate of the God of War. I was the sister of the Fire and the Light. But as the sun warmed my skin, I realized I was finally something else. I was free.

Eulalia gets a well paying job at a very successful company but she doesn't know why she can't stop thinking about her boss and all the dirty things he could do to her. Constantine can't stop thinking about the little angel that works for him and beautiful her blue eyes are. He will stop at nothing until he makes sure that she is HIS.

And then there was Elara. She stood in the center of the balcony, flames curling off her body like silk ribbons. Her hair floated weightlessly, her eyes molten gold. Every breath she took sent shockwaves through the air. The torches below had gone out, the wolves had fallen to their knees, and even the wind bowed to her. I had seen power before from Alpha Kings, ancient spirits, old gods whispered in myths but none of them had ever looked like this. None of them had ever been her.

Harper said, her voice trembling. Aurora’s stomach dropped. “What happened? Is Elara okay? What did Lilith do—” “I just stepped out to get her some snacks, and when I returned, Miss Lilith had her backed up on the balcony,” Mrs. Harper sobbed. “Elara was shaking. She’s not responding. I think she’s in shock.” Aurora froze. Her worst fear echoed through her mind. And this time… she was afraid she was too late.

She calls this unusual entity, Anti-magic. "What are Harpies?" Theia small voice calls, her eyes haven't left Valerie, not even to glance at the beauty of the ocean the Sirens occupy. They torture the guilty as they drag them to Tartarus. The journey is said only to be a day, but their cruel endeavours make it seem longer." Dylan whistles under his breath, his eyes also watching Valerie.

The Harpy also asked for ways of giving pleasure from the spider women, the females of the Lizardfolk, and of course her senior Harpies. The Harpy slept that night contented in the thought that she was able to gather a lot of information to help her friend. And she hopes that what she has is more than enough to be of help.
