I glanced at the glass bookshelf, where all the books were neatly arranged. Honestly... I was curious about the book on King Max. Miss Olive seemed rushed, hastily stuffing her things into her bag before standing up quickly. "Bernice, could you lock up the library for me? You can leave the key with Luna Hester," she asked. I nodded. "All right, Miss." "Well then, see you later. Have fun at your initiation, okay?" With those parting words, Miss Olive left the library, leaving me alone inside. I stood still momentarily, my gaze again drawn to the glass bookshelf—its key still hanging on the lock.

"Irene, hurry. We don't have much time to waste!" Ophelia called out to her maid. "I'm coming, my Luna!" Irene yelled back and the loud crashing of things didn't stop either. How the maid had gone into the library room and sent bookshelves falling wasn't something Ophelia could understand. Such had never happened before and even so she peeped in through the small opening of the door, Irene wasn't in the exact spot where the bookshelves were crashing, she couldn't be seen and somehow, Ophelia wondered if this was a deliberate act because they were to head to the pack house orphanage.

I looked at them and rolled my eyes before turning to Eloise and starting, “Let’s go to the library…” “No, let’s go and get something to eat, first. We had two class back to back” Eloise said and stood up from her desk, sighing. “Yes, please…” Gene said hungrily. “We will but let me borrow a book from the library and then we’ll go to the cafeteria, okay?” I asked them. “Fine…” Eloise said lazily and we walked out of the class to get to the library which was in the other building. “What are you going to do about this essay? We have only two days” Eloise said to me anxiously.

That way, she would never have the displeasure of hearing the name of Michael, Elisabeth or Aaron Vamcap again. Fortunately, there were more useful books there than she realized, since that place wasn't actually called a library for nothing. It was much larger than it looked, and among the huge collection of titles there were not only books on diverse subjects, but also a plethora of old novels, some in their first editions, which even made Rose a little more excited about the place, imagining that he could at least run away to read all that, while avoiding the Vamcaps... Or, at least, in the moments when Jullian allowed him to, so that his hideous presence wouldn't scare anyone.

The scent of ozone and rot was replaced by the smell of ancient books, rain-watered clover, and the salt of a distant sea. Elara stumbled, her spectral form no longer scarred or distorted. She walked into the library,the vast, cathedral-like hall Anna had seen,but it was no longer a tomb of memories. It was alive. In the distance, the sharp, crystalline sound of children’s laughter echoed through the obsidian stacks. "Took you long enough."

Elaine walked up the steps into the library. The smell of old books filled the air as she walked inside. The librarian looked up from her desk, where she was organizing a stack of books. “Can I help you?” the old gamma asked. Elaine glanced her way, smiling. “Do you have anything on mate bonds?” The woman tilted her head, thinking for a moment. “I believe so. There should be a section near the back. Let me know if you have trouble finding it.”

Apart from the furnitures that I'd fixed on the room, there was a library or I could just call it shelf filled with book at a corner Eloise was curled up in the middle of her bed, her knees drawn to her chest. Her face was pale, a sheen of sweat glistening on her forehead. She clutched her stomach as if trying to hold herself together. “Eloise,” I said again, more firmly this time, crossing the room in a few strides. She blinked up at me, her eyes glassy with unshed tears. “Go away,” she croaked, her voice strained. “Not a chance,” I replied with a furrowed brows. She even gave an excuse of the servants disturbing her peace. Knowing Dahlia, Elsie knew that Dahlia had never read a fictional novel in her entire life. She was more into inspirational and medical books, like the one she stole from seventeen-year-old Elsie. Meanwhile, the library had a lone shelf filled with a variety of romance novels from historical to mystery, arranged in alphabetical order by the author's name. Elsie could recognize most of the names of the books because she was an avid reader growing up. The room was filled with shelves of books, old photographs, and various trinkets.

It's true, this place is too big for a basement, it's even bigger than her own room back in her uncle's house so how can it be called a basement when it's that big?
