Elsa's Coronation Day Novels & Stories

"Be a good girl and try on the gowns. Pick whichever one you like. I'll have the driver take you home when you're done." With that, he turned and got back in the car. The engine roared. He sped away as if fleeing a plague, rushing toward his "border." Or rather, toward Cassia's bed. The designer approached, asking cautiously, "Luna Elara, shall we begin the fitting now?" I drew my gaze back to the rows of impossibly lavish gowns, each one a symbol of supreme power. I shook my head. "No. I won't be trying them on." "I don't want any of them." It didn't matter. At the grand coronation, all they would have is a dead Luna.

she says. “We could practice at your troupe this weekend,” Keya says. I nod. “We definitely could. We’ll talk to the Elementals when they arrive tomorrow.” That night we spend making last minute preparations for Kenna’s coronation. As much as she doesn’t like the pomp and circumstance of our elvish traditions, it’s important for those of us who are steeped in the old ways. Those old ways include the agreement that our elders made in how to claim dragons, so for me, they are still valid and important.

I was the famously sickly daughter of a great general. A cold breeze could make me cough blood. Unfortunately, I also had echopraxia, which made me compulsively imitative. Whatever I saw, I copied, and nobody could stop me. When I was three, one of my father's mistresses staged a hanging to win his attention. I thought it looked interesting, looped a sash around my own neck, and copied her. By the time a maid found me, my eyes had already rolled back. The physician forced three bowls of restorative down me through the night before he got me back. When I was five, my half sister threw herself on the floor screaming for candy. I copied her and stayed unconscious for seven whole days. My fa

Elisa stood poised, her second outfit a stunning ensemble of silk and velvet, expertly crafted by Madame Aria, the royal dresser. The coronation ceremony continued, with the pack's elders and dignitaries gathered to witness Elisa's ascension. Meanwhile, maids bustled about, packing Elisa's belongings into her new chambers, adorned with the Alpha's crest. Elijah strode into the room, a mischievous glint in his eye. "Isn't this nice?" he said, chuckling.

As the queen managed a false smile and looked to the crowd, Eli tried to swallow the lump in his throat. Kit stepped forward, and he could tell by her countenance she had no idea the queen had spoken to him, though she did seem slightly puzzled over the embrace. Nevertheless, she had a duty to perform. “Eliason Goedwig of Eastbury, I crown you with this corona of carnations for your victory today.” She was smiling, though he could tell her cheer was masking the fear she’d felt earlier still coursing through her veins. He leaned forward, and she placed the flowers on his head. “Additionally, you have won a visit to my chambers this evening.” The audience went mad for that announcement, cheeri

Victor steps from the shadows at the altar, tuxedo pristine, ledger floating beside him like an obedient dog. He spreads his arms wide. “Greetings, at the coronation " he declares, tone both kind and fearsome. "You’ve arrived on schedule.” Isla perches on the throne wearing a dress her legs swinging, a crown made of subway tokens perched too large for her head. Her eyes are crimson. They flash gold with each blink as if she’s battling a conflict, within her own mind and hasn't chosen the victor yet. She grins at us with lips that belong to her yet somehow do not.

“If that were your intent, you would have done so when you ascended to the throne. Why haven’t you taken action yet?” I clenched my fists tightly and lifted my gaze slightly to meet the queen’s eyes. She leaned back in her red velvet chair, raising her chin slightly as she spoke softly, “Then what do you think, Emilia? I’ll give you a chance to guess the answer.” Cecilia’s coronation took place yesterday, a grand and spectacular event. Carlos was reinstated as the royal elder and, in that role, crowned Cecilia in front of the Moon Goddess. She also broke the long-standing enmity between werewolves and wizards, announcing Ulysses as her husband.

I said and hurried away, making my way to the hallway that leads to the living room and kitchen. My name is Elsie Crown, I am 22 years old and the heir of my family, but I don’t think I am anymore. After the death of my mother, my dad remarried my mom's best friend Emilia and Emilia told me I was not the biological daughter of my father. She told me that my mom was a whore who slept around with different men and when she got pregnant with me, she pinned it on my dad.

Before I can respond to her question, Naisha, hovers close to A’el and whispers in her ear. “Excuse me everyone,” A’el says. “My handmaiden has just informed me of a dreadful snow storm. I must get going immediately if I’m to reach home in time for the preparations of my coronation.” “Coronation?” Monica asks. “Yes dear. Two days from now, you’ll be calling me Queen A’el. I hope that won’t make you too formal with me. I’ve taken a liking to you and I don’t like every creature I come across. Ask these two if you don’t believe me.”

She stood frozen, staring at the Beta. "What?" she whispered, her voice full of surprise. The smile on Elara's face disappeared completely. Her mouth opened in disbelief. She staggered back a step, almost falling down. She reached out and held the wall to steady herself. It looked like she was trying to wake up from a bad dream. The Beta smiled a little. "Tomorrow, the coronation will take place. Prince Kai and Lady Selena will become the new Alpha and Luna. They will rule over the pack with strength and wisdom."
