She leaned in and kissed me goodnight. I woke up in the middle of the night. It hit me, like the first time I was there. I couldn't get up. But at that time I didn't fight it. I was tired, maybe I could finally rest after this. I could feel it under me. Like it was trying to grab me.m, but I just didn't care anymore. I let it be, if it wants to take me then I was letting it try. I was tired of fighting it. Maybe, instead of everyone leaving me. I should leave them first. Maybe I should just die, maybe I was not meant for this world.

ARYA "I'd rather die," I spat, keeping my gaze trained on him. He smirked. Then he wrapped his fingers around my neck, his eyes darkening. In the depths of his eyes, all I saw was a promise of everlasting torture. Even if he was my fate, I would fight him with all my might. His grip tightened, and I gasped, clawing at his hands. My claws dug into his flesh. Still, he didn't flinch as blood trickled down his wrists.

The creature slowly leaned down to grab the tube, and in a moment, it was slung over its shoulder. "Come on, let's go," it said to its companion, who had been peering up the stairs where Raia and the others had come down to the basement. "Do you think we can go upstairs? Even if we only get one of the new students, that would be okay with me, as long as I could eat fresh meat," the companion said, licking their lips as if savoring a delicious meal. "Are you crazy?
