Max's Revelation

Max's Revelation

Clara, Max, and Jeremy all grew up in the orphanage. That’s where they adopted one another as siblings. As young adults, this ragtag crew changed their last names to Johnson, in homage to the wrestler, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. They left Max at the orphanage when he was around 5 years old. Jeremy was only 2 during that time, so they had no recollection of their parents. Because the orphanage was very poor, they forced the older kids to care for the younger ones. This was to ensure that everyone would have someone to care for them and minimize the cost of hiring additional personnel.

This is intriguing, witty and I still enjoy the relationship among the siblings. there isn't a boring moment when they are together. Perhaps Max is the key to this chemistry or perhaps Clara, who knows? But I really enjoy the introduction of Celine. I can't wait for more chapters!

Thank you author for Max’s story. Was just as well written as Clara’s Mystery and I cannot wait to read Jeremy’s. Keep writing because I am a fan and hooked on your ability to tell the story that grabs your readers and has them thinking of the characters long after the last chapter!

A BILLIONAIRE'S CONTRACTED BETRAYAL

A BILLIONAIRE'S CONTRACTED BETRAYAL

Sadness for the loss of a friendship that had once meant so much, but relief that their power over our lives had finally been shattered. As we stepped out of the courtroom, hand in hand, we were greeted by a sea of supporters—friends, family, and even strangers whose lives had been touched by our story. Their smiles and words of encouragement filled our hearts with gratitude, reminding us of the strength that lies within the bonds of love and the resilience of the human spirit. With Sophia and Victoria's chapter closed, we could finally breathe a sigh of relief. Our love, once tested and battered, had emerged victorious. We were free to write our own destiny, to build a future untainted by d

ACE OF HEARTS

ACE OF HEARTS

Something different from me, don't get confused, my first memories are also in an orphanage, only now I want transferred right here a few days ago after almost drowning a smaller child in one of the toilets of the Phoenix Orphanage. Don't be angry, that child deserved it. he had stolen my favorite toy for me and given it to a lousy orphanage girl that he liked, disgusting. So now I'm here and I have a new friend? I don't know, Oscar is weird, sometimes we get along and we are accomplices in sneaking into the kitchen and stealing a couple of cookies, and sometimes We play ball together, is the only child who spoke with me because everyone knows I tried to drown someone else child in my previo

one of the best book I have ever read , I like the way writer has written it and end it , it truly match with the title cruel , sometime as punishment and redemption we lose something only to know it's true value after losing it and regret is enough , story shows the cruel reality of real world .

Orphan Alpha

Orphan Alpha

I dressed quickly and after brushing my teeth and tossing my hair in a messy bun, I headed to the orphanage's cafeteria with my backpack slung across my shoulder. “Hey, Hannah! Saved you a seat.” Called Toby. He had been here longer than me and aged out in a week. We had become close friends during our time here. I grabbed my breakfast and sat beside him, eating quietly. The nightmare was still replaying in my mind. Part of me wondered if I would have seen my mate's human form if I hadn’t been woken up. I listened to Toby rattle on about a job he had found at the local movie theater and his small studio apartment. He couldn’t sign the lease on his own until he was eighteen, but Barb had made

The Baby Clause

The Baby Clause

Held it there. “I felt like that every day in the orphanage,” she said, her voice low and even. “Until you let me share your socks.” I laughed, small, hoarse. “That’s a pretty low bar for friendship.” “Maybe. But your socks had warmth. And kindness. And a little hole in the toe, which I pretended not to notice because it was the only pair you had that didn’t itch.” I smiled, eyes stinging. She turned toward me. “You were the only good thing in that place. You think I’m ever letting you crash and burn alone now?”

The Charismatic Charlie Wade

The Charismatic Charlie Wade

Tears and snot smudged Max’s face as he wailed, “Charlie, I had no choice! In order not to lose in that race to you, I had accidentally crashed into someone else’s Phaeton. If I don’t compensate him with a new car, he will kill me! Please, I didn’t mean to do so, I was desperate! Please!” Charlie stepped forward, kicked him on the chest, and sternly shouted, “You’re also an orphan, so you know the pain and sorrow orphans have to go through since childhood. The orphanage raised you! Not only did you not contribute anything to them, but you actually kidnap the orphans for money! You deserve to die, scumbag!” Severe pain vibrated through Max’s entire body, but he struggled to get up, crying and

Strangers Got Married

I spent hours there watching them be the happiest family ever. I can still picture them out eating and laughing together. It's an image of a happy family that I wish I had whenever I came home. Trina suddenly holds my hand so I turned my eyes to her, her eyes look really sad while looking at me. I know that she understands how I'm feeling right now looking at that house. Trina is 7 years older than me but she's the only best friend I have here in New Jersey. She never has a family, Trina was raised in an orphanage but when she turned 12, she decided to leave and raised herself.

Kissed by the Alpha's Inferno

Kissed by the Alpha's Inferno

They’re the only two people I hold dear to my heart. Like magnets, we had grown inseparable and had sworn nothing would ever separate us as we had lived at the orphanage together. Angie should be having a nice dinner being served to her by her foster family, and if Zara is alive and out there somewhere, maybe she would be staring out at the snow and dreaming again. Sigh, where do I go from here? Looking up at the long road ahead with street lights coming on, the night arrives quickly. ~

Frequently Asked Questions

The House Orphanage story is one of those haunting tales that lingers in your mind long after you've finished reading. I came across it while browsing horror forums, and the way it unfolds feels like peeling back layers of a nightmare. The brothers—initially portrayed as innocent victims—gradually reveal darker facets as the orphanage's secrets surface. The older one, especially, seems to harbor a quiet rage beneath his quiet demeanor, while the younger clings to hope in a place designed to crush it.

The climax, where the siblings confront the orphanage's cruel caretaker, is brutal but cathartic. It's not just about survival; it's about the scars left behind. The older brother sacrifices himself to save the younger, but the ending leaves you wondering if either truly escaped—physically or mentally. The ambiguity is what makes it stick with me. That, and the way it mirrors real-world institutional horrors, just with a supernatural twist.
