I said, she sat up calmly and stared deep into my eyes. “Tell me, how did Emma die?” She asked, she held my arm calmly, looking directly into my eyes. “I didn’t kill Emma, everyone believed I killed her though, only Raven and I know the truth, she was murdered by a demon, the king of Demons and it wasn’t because of me, but because of her family,” I said, she nodded for me to go on.

He slid into the couch next to him and said in a shaking voice, “Elli, you are scaring me now.” Elliot cleared his throat and said, “Yesterday, there was another attack and…” Alaric grabbed Elliot’s arms and whispered, “And…” Elliot gazed at the fire blazing in the mantel for a few moments before saying, “Emma is no more…” Alaric sat there stunned for a long time. Emma was a cute, clever five-year-old. She was so obedient. It was difficult to imagine that she had broken a rule. “What was she doing in the warring zone?”

Jeremy went back because we had no other option, we had exhausted everything. But Jeremy got into an accident and lost the use of his legs. While Amelia died, she wasn't even able to own her own grave and was dumped into a mass grave instead. It wasn't long after Amelia's tragic death and Jeremy's accident that the true horror began. Brian shifts his weight, his posture hardening, shoulders locking tight. His voice cools into something detached, business-like. “It seems Emma was murdered. I know the cops are looking into someone, but I’m not sure who.” My chest caves. “Is it Richard?” The words tumble out, my pulse thudding in my ears. “No. He has been cleared.” “What?” My voice cracks. My eyes dart around the busy street, suddenly convinced Richard is lurking in every shadow, smirking at his latest escape. “How? He did this, Brian. That I am sure of. And once again, he’s walking free.” Fear slides beneath my skin, cold and slick.

VINCENT "Yes. I killed her." Those words stabbed me in the heart and made me ache. But, I refused to show it. Rylee stared at me with wide eyes. I could see the emotions in her eyes. Hurt, disbelief, confusion. They were all reflected in her eyes. I looked away from her and rose to my feet. I couldn't stand it anymore. I didn't want to be judged by both Ava and Rylee. The door was pushed open and Emma stormed in, her eyes filled with tears.

Why did they have to kill Emily? Zeke led her out of the training room to the locker room, where she just grabbed her bag without bothering to wash the blood off her face and hands. And then he led her outside. Derek and Myles were already waiting in the car, still in their training kits. She could tell by their demeanour that Zeke had already told them what had happened. The Council had just killed someone in front of several witnesses and left her body for someone else to deal with. Because they could get away with murder.

This is what I want. "Emma, come with me." She looks hesitant but follows me to the back of my car. I opened my trunk. There's the body of a deer that I've prepared. "I crashed into it and it looks so in pain so I slit its throat. Sorry if that's scared you." She seems don't fully trust me yet but it means she's smart enough to not believe a stranger like me. "Hahaha it's fine, I was just surprised to see an officer having a bloody knife in his car."

He snarled. I took a cautious step forward, “Please,” I whispered, “Just put the gun down.” For a moment, something flickered in his eyes. Doubt. Then… “Emma!” Jeff’s voice. Everything happened in an instant. Sam’s expression twisted with rage. His fingers tightened around the trigger. I barely had time to react before… Bang. A sharp, searing pain exploded through my chest. The impact sent me staggering back. My breath caught in my throat as my knees buckled.

Emma spotted the key right on the table. "Yes but Stephen may come back." "Don't worry my partner is speaking with him. He will keep that young man busy till our work is done." Emma took the keys and rushed back to the car. 'I must do this quick.' When she came back to the car, she saw someone on the ground. She bent down only to realise that it was Agent Jones. He was stabbed in the chest. Emma gasped. "You always appear in the wrong place at the wrong time." Emma turned and saw someone familiar. It was a man in a black hood. He was the same man who killed Cathy.
