I Married the Man My Ex Could Never Compete With

I Married the Man My Ex Could Never Compete With

I ask. “Already done.” He taps the tablet. The code disappears. A short message replaces it. Eight words. I read them once. Then again. My jaw tightens slightly. “Was this the entire message?” I ask. “Yes.” “No attachments.” “No.” “No traceable source.” “None.” Of course not. People who send threats like this rarely sign their names. But the words themselves say enough. Owen studies my reaction. “You know what it means,” he says. “Yes.”

Expect The Unexpected

Expect The Unexpected

I warned him. He smiled, his hand managing to catch and hold mine before I could pull back. “I’ll take whatever you’re willing to give me, Red. Like I said before, I don’t know what really went down. But I’ve got the feeling it’s not good.” He sighed. “So I appreciate you willing to tell me your truth. Even if it’s only a little that you share.” He smiled a little letting my hand go. I nodded, taking my hand back and tucking it into the blankets, creating a safety bubble for myself. “Look…. So this it’s something I liked talking about. And I swear if you dismiss anything I say or are an ass about it, I’m kicking your ass.” I threatened.

I loved Cassidy from the Princes of Ravenswood and was so happy that she got her own story. I expected everything to be sassy and quick witted. what was completely unexpected was how much love there is around her, from her mums to her brother (eventually) and Collin to be so patient and accepting.

Ahh another great story by Bryant!! Collin and Cassidy are such an adorable couple! Despite the traumatic experience, it goes to show how one is not defined by one's scars, and oh to be loved, cared for, and to be seen by a Collin Oscar Cole, I am so in love with your fictional men, seriously!!

Peace begins to make some sneaky move making me realise she's about to leave me alone with these random guys. Ah! this idiot would do anything to get some d*** inside her. she waves her stupid hands at me signifying her disappearance. Great! I mutter to myself. I suddenly begin to feel bored having no familiar face around sucks pretty much. "Hey, a guy greeted." "Hi" "I'm Andrew." "Vivian" "Nice meeting you Vee, I've heard a lot about you." "Guess you are one of Peace's friends then." "Yeah, she flaunts about you every time, saying how amazing you are."

Accidentally His: The Girl Who Trespassed

Accidentally His: The Girl Who Trespassed

I am not doing this because she belongs here, but because I need to know if she can survive it. I don't like the thought. "You are overthinking this," Matteo says from my shoulder. "I don't overthink." His eyebrow lifts at my response. I drain the whiskey and set the glass aside. He passes his phone to me. ‘Unknown routing architecture detected again. Same proxy chain as before. Passive monitoring only so far.’ The message brings a cold realization. There is still no direct contact, and no further threats beyond the original text. Just observation. The elevator opens.

His Earthly Desire

His Earthly Desire

‎ ‎Jayden stepped behind me. ‎Close. ‎ ‎Warm. ‎ ‎Steady. ‎ ‎“It’s over,” he said softly. ‎ ‎I nodded. ‎ ‎Because on paper, it was. ‎ ‎No active threat. ‎ ‎No ongoing breach. ‎ ‎No escalation. ‎ ‎Johnson gone. ‎ ‎Andrew gone. ‎ ‎Silence. ‎ ‎But silence isn’t safety. ‎ ‎Silence is space. ‎ ‎And space can be preparation. ‎ ‎“Do you believe that?” I asked quietly.

Caught Between Two Alpha's

Caught Between Two Alpha's

I looked at Karl, who was at the counter four feet away and had been listening since the word Singapore. He shook his head once. Minimal. Meaning: don't go alone. "You can talk to me now," I said. "On this call." A beat of silence. "I'm not a Holt, Mr. Park." "No," I said. "You're the network that expanded into the space Holt left. Which is its own category." "Fair." He paused. "I'll be direct. The threat registry is a defensive mechanism. It exists because people with your capability, operating outside the established networks, are genuinely unpredictable." He paused. "Unpredictable is dangerous when we're talking about ability that moves people without their knowledge."

Ignoring Fate's Warning

Ignoring Fate's Warning

Sienna froze for a moment, then sneered, "Fine, search away! There's no way Callum would take something like that!" Dad nodded to calm the situation. "Alright, then we'll search everyone. Martha, you search Vy. Caleb, you search Mr. Lockwood." The housekeeper, Martha Harper, reached into my pocket. Sienna stared at Martha's hand, a smile already creeping onto her face. The pop-up messages scrolled: [Just admit it quickly, or you'll lose your parents' trust forever.] However, when Martha's hand came out, it was completely empty. "There's... nothing here." Martha looked stunned.
