Scarlet Romance

Scarlet Romance

I am as exciting and predictable as a loaf of sliced white bread. Anyway, back to my story. The traffic started moving, and off he went, leaving behind the lingering scent of tobacco. At work, I had trouble concentrating, and spent most of the day creating racy vignettes in my head with us as the feature characters. Let's be honest; I have a very vivid imagination. The closest I've been to a hot steamy encounter is courtesy of the pages of my endless supply of paperback romance novels. I'm not the kind of girl that attracts hot, sexy men. In fact, I've been called an ice queen by more than one guy. But when I'm in the middle of one of my books, I am sensual, daring, sarcastically humorous, a

Craved (Book #10 in the Vampire Journals)

“Please enlighten us.” The entire class turned and looked in Scarlet’s direction, at Sage. She was relieved to realize he wasn’t calling on her. She couldn’t help turning just a bit, too, looking behind her, at Sage. Instead of looking at the teacher, oddly, Sage looked at her as he spoke. “Romeo and Juliet was based on a poem by Arthur Brooke: The Tragicall Historye of Romeus and Iuliet.” “Very good!” Mr. Sparrow said, sounding impressed. “And for extra points, might you know the year it was written?”

A ROMANCE WITH MY GAY BESTFRIEND (ENGLISH)

A ROMANCE WITH MY GAY BESTFRIEND (ENGLISH)

"I haven't seen the woman's face yet but Dad mentioned her name, Nicole Rivera." "Ohh, her name is ugly. I'm the one telling you that you two are not suitable for each other." I shook my head. "Of course, we're going to be good, but gosh, I don't want a princess. I want a prince, like duh!" "Besides, you are not suitable either, the man I want for you is handsome, kind, respectful, with a sense of humor! But the more important thing is, you must like the man. Then I will never allow you to marry a man you don't love!" He added.

she yelled again, sounding like a nagging mother from a movie. I did what any normal person would do in that situation—I pretended the signal was bad and hung up. She sent me over ten messages on iMessage. “This is just as I expected when she knew what happened,” I said, gazing at the stunning night view of the castle from the balcony. The castle was bathed in soft moonlight, the landscape dotted with distant lights that twinkled like stars. “This is why ladies like you don’t get invited to a ball dance. It’s ‘ball dance,’ not ‘balcony dance,’” Leo’s words made me turn toward him.

My Best Friend’s Brother Is My Sneaky Link

My Best Friend’s Brother Is My Sneaky Link

“Because I do. Most of these modern book relationships don’t make sense. They wouldn’t work in real life. He’s toxic and she’s too naive, but hey, their s*x scenes are terrific and at this point, that’s all I’m here for.” I sighed deeply. What was with my mouth lately? I was no longer thinking before speaking. “So I’m guessing you prefer the older romance stories, like Jane Eyre whose man is double her age or Pride and Prejudice who had to marry for wealth or else she would be done for,” he said, looking at me with an amused expression. “Ok. Fair point,” I agreed with him. “But I never said I liked the older romance novels either. I’m an English major and I really believe some of these books

"I read somewhere that men become inconsiderate after sex." Felicia told me, as she pretended to write notes while our Proffessor Righton lectured about the Romantic Era. "Miss Reese? Miss Forte?" Righton called. "What is so vital as to be discussed in the middle of my lecture?" "We're discussing..err..Shakespeare, sir!" Fel answered. "In the Romantic Era?" "Yes. He was very romantic, sir, don't you think? Those eyes that Love's own hand did make?" She grinned. Righton didn't look impressed.

This was a great read! Worth every coin. I like that it's not full of fillers, and doesn't beat around the bush so much just to make it longer. Chapters are really long too which I absolutely livey! Good job to the author!

This was an amazing story! I wish there would’ve been a little more at the end, but otherwise I absolutely recommend reading this. Another great story to add to my favorites on here. I liked how it was a little different from most of the other mafia romance stories on here. Fantastic job author!
