Lin continued that local authors who write in English are as follows: First Generation: Daw Mi Mi Kyaing(Burmese Family), Daw Khin Myo Chit (Colourful Myanmar), Dr Maung Maung Pyae (Burma in the Crucible) Second Generation: Ma Thanegi (A Native Tourist) Third Generation: Junior Win, San Lin Tun (The Enigma of Big Bunny’s Arrival and Other Short Stories) As for the writing prospects, one could write in (Myanmar Times, Frontier, Myanmore, other online journals, etc.)

These had also been proof-read by another person. Please realise that I do not write in American English, so the spelling is New Zealand English. Some of the idioms I use may not translate as well into American English. I also use the metric system. Because of this, I have tried to set my story worlds to be as generic as possible.
