Saying farewell to a man who played such an influential role in my life yet remained unknown until his last moments was an incredibly surreal experience. As the casket was closed, Shiloh and Onyx remained silent as they said their final goodbyes. I couldn't help but notice Xavier, Aamon, and Salem standing together. Both men reached for one of Salem's hands, causing him to straighten his back and take a deep breath. It was almost as if he acknowledged someone or something only he could see. I tried to look in the same direction but saw nothing. However, recent events have taught me not to discount the possibility of there being something more beyond our physical world.

Endings should announce themselves. A door closing. A siren stopping. Someone saying, “That’s it, then,” with the kind of grave timing that makes everyone look meaningfully at the horizon. Act One of Maya Rodriguez’s second apocalypse ends with Sam arguing that powdered milk should count as food, Nora threatening to reorganize the cleaning cloths by color, Aaron trying to fix a shelf he broke while insisting it was “already emotionally unstable,” and Ben asking whether Gerald needs a watch rotation.

The entire hall watched as her body trembled. Still, she didn’t speak. Mama Mariah closed her eyes — lips barely moving, whispering something ancient. The light around Mia dimmed, just a flicker, just enough. “That’s enough,” Mama Mariah murmured. “She doesn’t know.” The fire pulsed once — and then went still. “If she doesn’t know,” the voice said slowly, “then she will soon know it.” Mia’s body was thrown back. The runes faded. Her vision blurred — but the last thing she saw were those same many witches and wizards closing in again, whispering about a coming eclipse…

Calhoun said his last words and then he was gone. "Calhoun!" Epheba held her chest and wailed uncontrollably. Alice couldn't help but cry, she was trembling just watching the scene unfold before her eyes, even if she knew it was just a memory that happened many centuries ago, it still happened. More tears escaped Epheba's eyes, she kept on trying to wake Calhoun up, but he wasn't responding, he was gone and she knew it,but didn't want to accept it. "I'm no longer Calhoun please wake up" she kept muttering, she held him so tight in her hands and didn't want to let go. All the black witches had been over powered then and they Lycan were now heading for Epheba, but she disappeared with Calhoun

I also thought since I gave Zara and Alejandro such a bittersweet, almost twisted + dark ending, that I should give Yasmeen and Marcus a sweeter one to balance things out. I have a two-part epilogue (with spice ✨) coming up and one extra thing that I wanted to put in!

I suddenly felt at peace and held until Anna, but when I came in contact with her she suddenly turned and kissed me smack on the lips, the camera shuttered and the picture was taken. **Hey everyone. There would be two Epilogues to give this story a perfect ending. And I understand you all have a lot of questions about Ryder's story and a lot more.
