Eragon Eldest Mga Nobela at Kwento

Rumor has it that he had killed his parents and eldest brother in order to take the throne. “It’s true,” my father says. Just as I am trying to reconfirm this with my stepmother, my father, the Alpha of the Mystic Grey Pack, appears, with my half-sister Erin trailing behind him. “But I, I’m only 18, I’m not even old enough…”

Preparation For The Mating Ball Arielle's POV The cold stone floor bit into my knees, but I dared not move. I was nothing here—a stain on their territory, a disgrace before their eyes. “You cannot bring her into the pack’s territory. You're defiling our territory!” Elder Zion yelled, his hands clenched as he hit the majestic table before him and the other elders. “Elder Orion, you know better. She is the daughter of a rogue. She can't stay with us as equals!” Elder Rufus added, his eyes darted towards me, the rest of the council of elders and the Alpha that sat quietly on his throne witnessing the chaos before him.

But this youngest son is different from his two older brothers. Duke Murdoch and General Accientsy serve their king faithfully, so they are favorites of King Arran. That is why many are jealous of them, especially the corrupt officials whose loyalty is divided between the two sons of the king. Regis Filius Damarion is the eldest son of King Arran. This is the only child of his first wife.

Refusing to look breakable. Their sons. That was why the Council was here. The eldest elder stepped forward, silver hair bound, robes heavy with sigils that smelled of old magic and older arrogance. His gaze slid past Lucian, past Talia, and locked onto the three cradles arranged in a loose circle around the glowing sigil etched into the stone floor. Not concerned. Not awe. Inventory. “Your Majesty,” the elder said at last. “Queen Talia.” His eyes never returned to her.

Thirteen thrones stood in a half-circle, elevated above a platform where Kael now led her. “Elara Moonstone,” a voice rang out—clear, cold, and unfamiliar. An older man with dark robes and storm-grey eyes rose from his seat. “Daughter of Seirs and Alric. Returned from exile.” Elara’s stomach twisted. Another Elder—a woman with silver hair coiled like a crown—leaned forward. “You bear the mark. But that alone is not proof of who you claim to be.” “She does not claim it,” Kael said, stepping forward. “I do. I was witness to her birth. Sworn to her mother’s blood oath.”

I said quietly. Realization dawned on his face—too late. “I—” His voice cracked. “I just carried messages. That’s all. I swear.” The elders stood, one by one. “Messages for whom?” I asked. Eron shook his head violently. “I didn’t know who he was at first. Just a voice. A shadow. He said he could fix everything.” Fix. The word tasted bitter. “He said the Moon had made a mistake,” Eron continued desperately. “That Selene was meant to rule beside someone else. Someone stronger. Someone who belonged.”

I finally snapped, in a cold voice. "You're really stubborn, Alpha. Sticking to that girl all this while" Elder Eron smiled. This made me brows raised involuntarily, him smiling was rare. What was this about. "It's always been believed that you had the blood of our great warrior ancestor within you," Elder Jorn added. “You're a true Alpha” My eyes immediately narrowed. It might’ve taken me this long to finally understand things, but these men were like wild dogs. Their loyalty lied in the hands of the one who held their bone.

He opens his mouth to greet his son, but he chokes on his words, and Tory places a hand on his shoulder before telling him that he doesn't have a name yet. "Eros," Paris finally finds his voice, looking at a duplicate of his other son, Elios. He peeks under his blanket, and he too has the same birthmark as his brother. Tory gives him room with his family as he walks over to Evakis’s side, who is supposed to wake up when the moon is up in the sky, with his son in his hand.

"That is a war that belongs to you, not me. I have told you too many times already, we can't continue, there have been too many deaths." "Of course it is also your fight. Those deaths were necessary and you know it. Egil was never the real heir, he took your place, he claimed everything, disposed of Gaspar Arrabal's fortune as he pleased without considering your position." "Egil is my father's son with his wife, mother. He didn't even know of my existence until later, when he had already taken his place as the heir."

Patrice Benette smiled at his friend, “your Aunt Althea asked me to tell you to come visit her soon. She said she’ll be in her office all evening tomorrow.” “Got it!” Dorin said with a big smile. “she’s been calling for me again, all of a sudden.” Patrice and the rest haven’t told him yet about his aunt’s encounter with Eirian, after all. “But you know, I’m still a bit confused,” Johan said with a frown. “Just who was that Elazar, and why was he dressed as a girl?” Mordecai burst out laughing, then tried to calm himself. “Elazar Ravante was the son of the last Ravante royalty, he was the last of the silver mages, and the heir of one of the three great houses of the kingdom,” Xander explained
