“Danielle, please take your father’s place. Yuto, accompany your mate.” Marcus stood and the door under the seats leading into the hall opened. “Recently, my Successor was found and merged with her wolf. She is the oldest of the next generation of Elders and she will become the Senior Elder. Her wolf,” Marcus smiled at the two bound men as they caught sight of Electra, “is the Gelert. Ladies and gentlemen, Elder Successor Electra.”

His name was Theron, though most simply called him First Elder. “So,” he said, voice rough as gravel, “the rumored mother stands before us.” Elara didn’t bow. She inclined her head once. Respect, not submission. Theron noticed. His eyes narrowed faintly. “You entered Frostveil as a refugee,” another elder said, a woman with pale braids and scarred hands. “Yet chaos followed you to our borders within weeks.” “Chaos found me long before Frostveil,” Elara answered calmly. Murmurs rippled around the circle.

"Azazel, I'll take you away. From all these things. I'll take you to the castle. You'll join my legion. Will you?" Before he could speak his brothers did. "Milady, he's just a little Shepard boy. He knows nothing about fighting. He tends for our fathers sheep. That's all he does. You might be making a mistake." One of them said. The eldest then said. "I am the oldest of this family Milady. I'm glad you're granting our family this kind of honor but it won't be good enough if it's wasted on a little boy. I hunt for this family. I have also done several trainings. I am the most for this Milady."

The pack actually wasn’t open to having her around as they didn’t see her as a shifter and the Hugons don’t believe she can connect with her dragon side. 8) – Hugons are descendants of dragons and can live for many centuries, especially if they connect with their dragon side. King Raxelan tipped his chin up, cracked up a smile and assured myself, 'His face that I would soon pommel to the ground enough that Herneith would hate staring at.' King Eckon's head snapped up to gaze at him. Despite the distance, King Raxelan was certain they had clear views of each other. So this is Eros' ancestor in the flesh. I took a sharp breath.
