Carry My Child, Miss Laurier

Carry My Child, Miss Laurier

“Okay, who is that person?” “Hemmingway. He is noted both for the intense masculinity of his writing and for his adventurous and widely publicized life. His succinct and lucid prose style exerted a powerful influence on American and British fiction in the 20th century. One of his famous book is The Old Man and the Sea—a novella written himself.” While I am continuously answering his question, I found his gaze and saw him staring intently at me as he waited for my next words. I bit my tongue, already distracted on the way he look at me so I look on my right only to see Rael, Nathan and Levi looking so proud at me. I lick my lower lip one more time as I continue what I was about to say earlier

he then motioned for the spot next to him and said, “Come sit,” I suddenly felt nervous to be so close to him, so I sat down but not right next to him, I gave us a little space in between. “What are you reading?” I tried to make small talk. “Hemingway,” he said as his eyes went to the book. His finger folded one of the page corners as if to mark it. “It’s for my English class,” he lifted the book slightly and I saw the title, it was The Sun Also Rises by Ernerst Hemingway.

I paid for and read (1) The Mafia’s Good Girl and (2) The Mafia’s Wife and (3) The Mafia’s Daughter and (4) The Teacher’s Pet. Now all those books are vanished from the app. It’s so unfair because I spent a lot of money and enjoyed rereading them because I kept them in my Library where they vanished

Things Slip Through

Things Slip Through

His first novel. And deeply personal, based in part on an autistic boy he’d known growing up. While he’d written it, he’d truly felt alive, as though he’d been accomplishing something important, something real. He’d enjoyed writing all his novels well enough but he hadn’t felt the same since that first one, like his writing was making a difference. He lifted a trembling hand. And with an odd combination of loathing and need he flicked open the book’s cover, revealing the inscription: To Hank—best cook in Pennsylvania, who called me ‘not a pain in the ass’.

First Night With Brother-in-law (English Novel)

Moreover, Mona was very obedient to Arka, making the man happy. "Honey ... let's get up, you have to go to work," Mona said, shaking her husband's body which was only wrapped in a blanket. "I'll be there in a minute, my body's all sore," Arka pleaded, pulling her wife's body so that their bodies overlapped. "That's your fault. I told you not to do it every day," Mona said, laying her head on Arka's chest. "It's called being newlyweds, honey," Arka said without opening her eyelids.

The Billionaire’s Regret Clause; One Year Together. One Love

He set the pages down. Ernest was quiet for a long time. He thought about the first time Don had read him a section of a book — The Inside Account, the early section about the accumulation in places, the reading that had made him understand that Don was writing about something that mattered, something that was not only their lives but also the argument about what lives could be. That reading had been in the fifth year. The arrangement had been young then. The accumulation had been eleven years old. Ernest had heard the argument and had recognized it as true, but the recognition had been the recognition of someone who was still in the becoming. The recognition in the thirty-first year was dif

Everyone's arguing about which book, but nobody's mentioned the best way to read it: in one sitting, if you can. His prose has a momentum that gets interrupted if you put it down for days. A rainy afternoon with 'A Farewell to Arms' is an experience. You get submerged in the rhythm and the emotion, and the ending hits so much harder.
