KANE

KANE

And at the center of it all, undefeated, untouchable, was Kane Shawn. Standing at 6'5", with a body carved from years of brutal discipline, he was a titan among men. His blonde curls were damp with sweat, sticking to his forehead as he rolled his shoulders, his enormous arms flexing with ease. His skin glistened under the dim lights, his six-pack rippling with every movement. But it was his face that truly set him apart a masterpiece of sharp lines and perfect imperfections. His light blue eyes had the power to pierce through a man's soul, making even the most confident opponents hesitate. His lips, full and sinful, often twisted into a smirk that made women weak and men envious.

"The North yard is his now." Dominic leaned in, studying the perimeter. "He moved his primary assault team there," Hugo added. "They didn't touch Pier 4." Dominic's eyes moved across the photo. Pier 4. Taro and Yosuke cut off and butchered. The backup squad walking into a kill box. "We bled for this bastard," Dominic said. Hugo watched him. "What?" "Shinjiro used us to clean his own house," Dominic said, pressing a hand flat on the picture. "Taro and Yosuke reported directly to Ichiro. Shinjiro wanted them gone. He used our bullets to do it."

Leading My Family to Glory

Leading My Family to Glory

“The Shindo Order is the organization that has been manipulating us from the start. Our clan has no way of resisting them. We’re at their mercy. We’ve done everything at the command of the order. At the behest of the Shindo Order, we asked Kurama to send someone to the Celestial Empire to map out the royal tomb.” “The Shindo Order?” Tyr rarely visited Japan, so he was unfamiliar with the country. He had never heard about the Shindo Order. Ike quickly explained, “The Shindo Order is an extremely powerful religion in Japan. In our country, there are tens of thousands of believers. It has lasted for over three hundred years. The headquarters of the Shindo Order is located on Fukuoka’s Sacred Mo

At least loosen your hold around my neck. “You must be Fuyukawa Hiromitsu-kun.” Kaori-nee’s mother greeted Hiro-san. “I have heard a lot about you. This is the first time that we are actually meeting though.” “Yes, Takahashi-san.” Hiro-san bowed his head respectfully. “I’m pleased to meet you. You can call me Hiro.” “Then, Hiro-kun.” She smiled and looked back at the other two children who were shyly hiding behind her. “Come on, you two. Greetings.”

"Will you pull such naughty pranks on your loving husband again?" She shook her head, eyes fluttering down in shyness. She won't dare because she hates it whenever he ignores her and gives her a silent treatment. "I won't, husband." "Good, now it's time for another punishment." ???! "W-What punishment, husband?" He didn't say anything and just pulled her down before pinning her on the desk, half of her body leaned on the flat surface and her bottom perked out, looking inevitable to his eyes.

Pull the trigger or leave him barely alive to set an example for the people who were still looking for her. "How do you know me? I know you're like me, trained not to speak when held captive or tortured but if you know my name, then you know me, and you know why they called me Adolph's Shadow, don't you?" His Adam's Apple moved up and down as he gulped from the fear she inflicted with that sentence and those dreadful eyes. He could still feel the aftermath of the punch she landed below his chest before sending him sprawling on the floor. "As expected of the Hian Hoshi clan, to be able to produce such a fine gifted weapon as you must have made them proud and esteemed."

EJIMA

EJIMA

Silence and emptiness had mended the crips of the birds. Ejima rested her hands on her sling as she roamed the narrow path. As a novice in the shrine, she was not allowed to wear a sword, but that does not mean she was harmless. She was a sling master and could cause twice the damage as any good sword. War was not something anyone in their right senses would wish for. She has not seen one herself but she’d heard too many scary tales from her husband to desire one. The hunger, the killings, and the tragedy. It was too heavy a mental picture to draw, let alone wishing for one. The gods forbid we have wars in this harvest period. Ejima prayed as she rounded the narrow path and into the village

I get the holidays are here and it can make things a little hectic. But all the more reason to try and get those chapters out ahead of time as we all would like to continue reading. However at this rate it seems you may lose followers of the book and the money you get by them supporting your novel.

Frequently Asked Questions

especially the works that blend subtle emotions with everyday life. The Hiromi novels are a perfect example of this—they have this quiet, introspective quality that just lingers with you. The author, Hiromi Kawakami, has a way of crafting stories that feel like gentle waves; they don't crash over you but instead pull you into their rhythm. Her writing style is so distinct, almost like she's whispering secrets to you across a cozy café table. 'The Nakano Thrift Shop' and 'Strange Weather in Tokyo' are two of her most famous works, and they perfectly showcase her knack for capturing the delicate dance between loneliness and connection.

What I love most about Kawakami's work is how she makes the mundane feel magical. A simple conversation about vegetables or a shared meal becomes this profound moment of human connection. It's no wonder her novels have such a devoted following—they're like comfort food for the soul. If you haven't read her yet, I'd start with 'Strange Weather in Tokyo'; it's a beautiful introduction to her world.
