A long, ominous silence followed her words. The wind shifted. The forest no longer smelled of dirt and bark and rain alone. It carried something darker now. Something ancient. Something that did not belong to this world anymore. Far away… beyond Ashwood… beyond the countries marked on maps… something awakened deep beneath forgotten ground. And whispered his name. AURA. Rhea lifted her head slowly… eyes faintly glowing once more as she stared into the endless forest, sensing him. Feeling him. Her voice was barely more than a breath:

“Come with us. If you’re serious about stopping it, there’s something you need to see.” --- The group led them to a concealed settlement deep within the forest. The village was unlike any they’d seen before, its homes were built into the massive trees, connected by intricate rope bridges. “Welcome to Eron’s Hollow,” the leader said. “I’m Tarrek. We’ve been watching the fracture for weeks, trying to understand its growth.” Lena couldn't help but notice the tired faces of the people as they entered the village. While adults went with purpose but little hope, children clung to their parents, their eyes wide with horror.
