Life After Prison

Life After Prison

The rain crashed into the sea like droplets sizzling upon a scalding oil pan. Nearly all the true immortals, along with the quasi-royal celestials locked in combat, raised their gazes to the heavens. Among them, Wilbur—the prodigy of the Clear Wind Sect who was ranked fifth on the True Dragon Board—gazed upon the descending blood rain with a mixture of horror and astonishment. His scalp tingle, and he muttered to himself, "Now I understand how you've earned the favor of our royal celestials. You hardly unleashed your full might when you dealt with Robyn the last time around!"

one of the best novels of this site. well written and great story. The only problem is Monday you get a lot of pages and chapters, and the rest of the week you get a page a day. Come on the author and this site can do better. Really about to stop reading because of this.

Eternally Yours

Eternally Yours

Her kiss felt like a symbol of the eternal love and bond that they shared. “Can you promise that we’ll be together forever, Garin? That even after death, we’ll find each other in Harlem and be together for all eternity?” Hannah asked. “I wouldn’t have it any other way, Hannah. I promise you that our love will live forever, in the physical world and the Nether realm. We will love each other for every lifetime, every generation and nothing will ever break us apart. I swear it,” He said. “I swear it as well,” Hannah said and they sealed their promise with another kiss and let the night swallow them in its calm and peace as they engaged in the sharing of skin and the passion found within.

Rain’s Fire

Rain’s Fire

I stated to everyone. The circle was reformed around my Rain and I stood next to Alpha Trevor. I told him the wait was almost over. He looked at me still unsure of what was happening. I smiled at him and turned back to watch my beautiful mate. The wind picked up around us as rain began to fall lightly from the sky. Lightning flashed overhead as electric currents ran up Rain’s arms. Her electric blue eye and her bright gold eye were both glowing as I watched the crystals detach from the necklace around my mate’s neck. They floated in front of her glowing one bright yellow and the other bright blue.

of the planet’s upper atmosphere. "The Carbonate-Lattice is breaking!" Mara yelled from the observation deck of Aethelgard. "It’s raining, Mother! It’s actually raining!" The "First Rain" was a terrifying miracle. Because the atmosphere was still thin, the water didn't fall as gentle droplets; it fell as "Hydro-Slugs"—heavy, freezing pellets that hammered against the bronze-wood hull of the city. But as the heat from the Forge continued to rise, the temperature of the planet began to climb out of the cryogenic range.

The Alpha’s Debt of Blood: The Unwanted Mate

The Alpha’s Debt of Blood: The Unwanted Mate

The Blood-Rain was not a metaphor. It was a physical corruption, a heavy, metallic downpour that stained the world a deep, visceral crimson. As the ten thousand newly awakened Hallowed warriors marched out of the Silver Mines, the sky seemed to be hemorrhaging. Each drop that landed on the skin felt like a needle-prick of sorrow, a cold, cloying reminder of the lives Selene had sacrificed to fuel her ascension.

Alpha’s regret : The return of his rejected mate

Alpha’s regret : The return of his rejected mate

"The dust. It's conductive. It's turning the atmosphere into a giant antenna. THE RAIN We went to the balcony for "breakfast" which for Leo consisted of a block of high-calorie protein paste wrapped in lead foil, the only thing dense enough to hold its molecular structure near him. The sky over Sanctuary was a bruised violet. The sun was a dim, hazy disc behind the layer of Architect-dust. "It's raining in the South," Damian said, joining us. He moved better these days, but the damp weather still made him limp. "Reports from the Free States say it's been raining for three days straight. Black rain." "It's not water," Leo said, chewing the paste. "It's condensation collecting around the dust

The Eternal Forest: Her Alpha

The Eternal Forest: Her Alpha

We ran so long I was sure I was about to fall over. This part of the forest was one I’d never visited, the trees were thinner here. The autumn leaves had finished falling leaving them bare and black, spindling toward the sky. If my sense of direction could be trusted we weren’t far from the river nymph settlement, another place I’d never been. The elders said elves lived in the purple mountains I saw cresting over the horizon. They were so far and so different from other fae I often thought of them as mythical. Gera stopped suddenly, swooping down from the bright blue sky, stopping me in my tracks. The shimmer of magic in the air pressed against me. I couldn’t see anything, but the spot it c
