The door swung open in one smooth motion.
Luca leaned against the frame, one hand braced above his head, the other casually in his pocket. He was barefoot, his hair slightly damp like he’d just stepped out of the shower. A loose, white T-shirt clung to the shape of his chest, and grey sweatpants hung low on his hips. His eyes swept over me once, slow and deliberate, before resting on mine with a smirk that made my pulse quicken.
“You must be Ethan,” he said, his voice warm but threaded with something heavier. “Finally decided to come home.”
