We found Fallon quickly. She’d been standing out front of Arzen, looking eagerly in the windows, when we approached. I let time resume and cleared my throat loudly. Jumping at the sudden sound, Fallon spun around to face us.
“I thought you guys followed!”
How could we when you practically ran off like that?
Evangeline popped out a hip and, thinking the same thing, arched her brow at Fallon. “I can understand a bit of teenage rebellion, but considering it’s a few days before Christmas, and we’re in a packed mall with your brothers nearby, maybe choose another time, yeah?”
