Fighting Zephyrus-The Indomitable Alpha (Overpowered Series)

Fighting Zephyrus-The Indomitable Alpha (Overpowered Series)

Her loud, evil cackle echoed around the small room as she took in the horrified look on my face. She turned towards my mother and muttered something with her eyes closed, pointing her index finger towards her. With a twist of her finger, she magically picked up a bottle of blue liquid from the bedside table. I watched her magic spell with awe as she poured a little into my mother’s mouth, without even touching the bottle. How was it possible? She placed the bottle back and strode out of the room to feast on my mate and friends!

Alpha's Eclipse

Alpha's Eclipse

Every time. Sometimes she’d bring her dolls—lumpy, overwashed creatures with buttons missing and threadbare limbs—and beg me to enchant them. I’d oblige, casting a small charm to make them sway or spin, and she’d squeal with delight, clapping her hands as if I’d just performed the most impressive feat in the world. I’d pretend we were just playing. I told myself it was harmless. But she never asked why magic came so easily to her. She never questioned why her spells lit faster than others or why she could whisper incantations and the wind would listen. She only smiled and said it was because I was teaching her, and that meant she was special.

 The King of Beasts

The King of Beasts

She lifted her eyes and met mine, “When I look at you, I hate myself. You’re everything, I was not. You fought for yourself when I gave up. You still fight when I resigned myself to fate.” She smiled at me, but it was full of pain. Soul-shaking pain. “People say magic doesn’t exist. They don’t know. They lie. Magic exists. I saw it. I felt it. I felt it when I held my daughter in my arms for the first time. It was magic. I know it.” She touched my chest, unbothered by the fact that I was naked.

The Hidden Princess At All-Boys Alpha Academy

The Hidden Princess At All-Boys Alpha Academy

To Jackson’s surprise the little girl calms, still crying, hiccupping softly in his arms as she leans her head against his chest and just stares at the queen. “See, that’s already better,” Ella coos, continuing to stroke the little girl’s hair. “I bet you were getting tired of shouting, too.” Marigold just continues to stare, quieting further, still frightened but not screaming her head off anymore in shock and terror. Jackson looks with surprise between the little girl and the queen like he can’t believe how easily she accomplished that – like it may very well have been magic.

Excellent storyline. Ending lacking completion. The last chapter was rushed skipped a year in the timeline. Very disappointing. Same with Julie's story. That said will the other stories be written, Rafe's, Jesse's $ Mark's?

I am really really enjoying this book! Initially, I wasn’t too keen on the double fated mates premise, but as I keep reading it all comes together. I love how exciting the story unfolds. All the characters, the smart funny banter, the friendships, character growth, and story development is awesome!

Moon Bound With You

Moon Bound With You

“You’re so....easy to scare. It’s adorable.” “A-adorable?” I stammer, tugging at the bacon grease soaking into my robe. “I’m covered in food, my heart is about to explode, and you think that’s adorable?!” Her grin only widened. She leaned forward, her elbows on the table, biting her fingertip like she was trying to contain herself but failing, because she was clearly enjoying every second. Then she snapped her fingers. In a blink, the bacon and eggs vanished from my chest, the floor, everywhere. And reappeared, neatly, back on the plate that had magically reformed in my hands.

The choices we make

The choices we make

She never would have expected she could do so. It was Friday afternoon, and Mary was heading to Procecsa’s office. They were going to go through the recent books Procecsa had Mary reading. After getting Mary to recognize her water magic, Procecsa was now focusing on fire. Mary thought she had some fire magic in her, but she could never focus on it. Not that Mary complained. Four types of magic were more than she could have ever hoped for, she thought as she rounded the last corner. From the corner of her eye, she saw a green object come flying. She instinctively held out her hand towards the object and turned her body away. As the soft melon hit her hand, it dissolved, and Mary found her ent

 Magic in the Moonlight

Magic in the Moonlight

I was attractive enough, but fading and content with it. Doctor Scott was correct. My neck was in a bad way. Two ragged rows of spider-like black stitches ran down my neck. Smaller wounds were mending on their own here and there. But it wasn't that that made me gasp. The lady in the mirror was no more than twenty-four years old, and she was much more than merely attractive. Her hair had a stunning white color. Not blonde; pure, snow white with silver flecks here and there. She was skinny, with barely an ounce of fat on her. And what about her face? There isn't a single wrinkle. It couldn't be me; even the childhood scar on my forehead had vanished.

Magic by Moonlight

Magic by Moonlight

"The only thing that matters to me is you." Another wave of emotion flooded her eyes as she gave me a tentative smile. "Are you sure?" she choked out. "I feel like I've only brought you trouble." I smiled gently at her. "It's nothing I can't handle, little witch," I said giving her a wink. ***

Sweetest Little Sister

Sweetest Little Sister

She texted Penny and asked her to bring her books. … When Jojo got out of the bathroom, there was a clean white dress on the bed. Finn wasn't around. She didn't know where he was. She looked at the dress, and her heart beat a little first. Even though it was simple, it was very cute. She changed into it and looked at herself in the mirror. A smile appeared on her face. She looked beautiful. Just then, the door was opened, and Finn came in. He paused in his movements when he saw her. “Oh! Who is this little princess?“ He asked with a smile.

Their Little White Lie

Their Little White Lie

“I’m not saying you should love me or even be in this relationship because you feel something. I’m proposing an act. It looks real, but it’s not.” Sabrina opened her mouth to speak but didn’t. She brushed it off. She shook my words off like dust and sat in front of her bowl. “I’ll ignore you and hope you disappear,” Sabrina said with a humorless chuckle. She dished her food like I wasn’t there, acting like I didn’t exist. “Sabrina—” She held up a hand. “I’m your sister—” It burned me how everyone tried to shrink that big-small detail. Like it didn’t matter.
