", Faiz asked as she pointed at his mask and slid her hand to the side as a gesture. Jack had nothing to hide anyway, he only wore a mask because he didn't want to attract any evil attention. He nodded as he moved his slender and fair hands to his face, and slowly removed the mask from his mask.

It was undeniable that this guy was good, but it was not enough to make my heart skip a beat have me crave for more. "Are you still here Mason?" I opened my eyes and looked him in the eyes. He was propped up on one elbow as he laid on his side in only his underwear, like a model would, but all the effort made him look like an amateur. I couldn't breathe or see anything from tears in my eyes. Jack looked from dust to me. Slowly he began to walk towards me and I stepped away from him. The wall was keeping my back again, there wasn't any space where to go anymore. He didn't say anything just looked into my eyes, his face pale was covered by black veins, he didn't have any color in his eyes, they were full of blackness. I was looking at them as they were black holes where time and space don't exist here. His silence was killing me.

Soon, the whole plate is gone and Jack looks sickly. "Jack, are you alright?" I check. He shakes his head, "No." As soon as that's said, I get an ominous feeling. Jack's eyes roll back into his head. "No!" I scream and scream. "Jack! Can you hear me? Jack!" Tears sprint down my face. They blur my vision and make it hard to breathe. I pull as hard as I can to release myself, it fails.

A few hours later, Jack stared into the mirror looking at a completely different person. His face had been cleanly shaven. His hair was short cropped on the sides and longer on the top. It had been dyed a light brown with blonde patches in it. The biggest change was his newly pointed ears made using synthetic cartilage. It was supposed to be reversible, but it looked pretty permeant to him. His normally steel blue-grey eyes gleamed back green.

However, it wasn’t the same as to what I'm seeing now. There was a boy. I can’t recognize his face because of the weird blurry effect of the dream. The only thing I saw clearly were his eyes. His emerald-colored eyes are still engraved in my mind. Even though it’s already been a year since I last dreamt of it, I still can’t forget his eyes. The scenes may be different to what I'm seeing now, but they were both peculiar and still not on earth.

“You make me a lot of money, girl. And I hate that you’re leaving. But I can’t stand in the way of your dreams.” I felt warmth fill my chest. “Thank you… really.” “You’re welcome.” She patted my cheek. “Now go. Let’s make this last night your best.” When she left, I turned toward the mirror. My brown contacts covered my real blue eyes, and the silver mask glittered under the bulbs.
