Claire’s POV The moment those words left my lips, I stood there frozen. I hadn’t believed a day like this would come. Me openly disrespecting my own father right to his face in front of the pack elders. He is my ex-dad now so I don’t care anymore. Marcus blinks like he cannot even process what he just heard. His mouth opens and closes twice before any sound comes out. Tyler’s face goes pale under the blood still drying on his temple.

He saw the pained expression from his fairy so he tried to comfort her by patting her shiny pale yellow hair. "It's alright. You are going to be fine."He whispered. Her pained expression suddenly calmed down. Then after a few seconds, she slowly opened her eyes. He could see that his fairy was still adjusting her eyesight.
