The forest they are in are part of Esperanza Kingdom.

Luminous was already been destroyed by Reifus who was also a threat to his majesty. There were seven kingdoms who's been destined to ruined his majesty's reign and these kingdom was: Mavis Ancienterre, Luminous Espirious, Freille Aciere, Dracous Alourre, Elvious Levou, Dwaa Acre and Gaurdous Satierre. So far, they already took down one of these seven kingdoms; Luminous Espirious. Mavis is next, yet, Nicholai had just heard about the remaining kingdoms from his majesty. Freille Aciere, Dracous Allourre, Elvious Levou, Dwaa Acre and Gaudrous Satierre. These kingdoms were unknown, for their location was not yet been discovered. But his majesty's believed that they existed.

“ I’ll start from the very beginning. Once there were five kingdoms. In these five kingdoms the Lycans, The Seiges, The Fairies, The mermaids and The Giants existed around the same time. The five kingdoms together was called Caeleste, meaning supernatural. They all lived together for a century until the fairies claimed they found a better place to stay. Then the mermaids claimed they preferred to live in the deep sea than being confined in Caeleste. Little by little three out of the five left Caeleste leaving the Lycans with the Seiges.
