"No! she has white hair and a pretty face, a white tail with scales that sparkle like pearls. Not scary at all!" "It must be Neraidas!" said King Leonard. "Neraidas?" "Yes! Neraidas is an immortal being that can change form. Sometimes it has white legs and wings, sometimes with a tail like a fish swimming in the water. Neraidas is the guardian creature of the land of the gods, namely Lithonia." "I just found out there is a creature like that!" said David. "So, there is Neraidas, huh?" Matthew, who had read the Neraidas story in books, could not believe that the creature actually existed.

Among the maidens that dwelled in his prosperous region, none was more beautiful than Thetis, a beautiful Nereid, the water nymph, known as the goddess of water, one of the fifty daughters of the ancient sea god Nereus. Even Zeus was showing his desire for her, so Poseidon chose Thetis. But later, when Themis, the ancient Titaness and goddess of Justice, said: "Lord of the Sea, heed my words. Thetis's offspring shall be born greater than his sire, and Thetis shall indeed bear a son."

Gabriel POV Gabriel woke early, sipping on coffee in his kitchen and watching the sun rise over the red rocks in the distance. Where his section on the compound was, he could see nature for miles. He was pondering about the research notes he had taken for Lucy on nymph lore. Supposedly nymphs were fairies in a sense; a nature deity that had different personifications of different habitats. Mermaids could even be associated with nymphs. They were usually beautiful, enticing maidens who could seduce men.

Little Thena couldn't help but be enchanted by it all, tugging at her mother's hand to explore. With her curious eyes and radiant smile, she attracted attention everywhere she went. Her natural beauty was striking, with the purple hue in her eyes growing more vibrant in the sunlight. To Iris, her daughter looked like a miniature version of the Greek goddess Athena - intelligent, bright, and sunny. But as the family meandered through the crowded streets, little did they know that danger was lurking in the shadows. Monsters of all kinds watched from the sidelines, waiting for an opportunity to strike. Somewhere in the South of France…

The twins were sitting on either side of me, and Martina's eyes were red and blotchy and Spencer was sniffling. When Dad and my siblings arrived at the villa, Mom was already gone. Of the ten people (five bodyguards, three maids, a chef, and a driver) who went with us, only two survived: me and the chef. According to the investigation, it was the work of a water naiad. Water naiads belonged to the fairy race. Unlike humans and elves and dwarves, fairies were immortal creatures. Since they didn't have physical bodies, they couldn't die. Hence, they were considered 'immortal'.

NOLAN Damn! What was that? “Arius I said fricking stop you jerk!” We heard Niara’s scream from outside. Arius only gave her a burst of laughter. Minutes passed, Niara and Arius explained everything. Apparently, Niara’s mother was Anitun Tabu, the Goddess of the wind, while Arius’ father is Kidlat, the God of lightning. They’re so-called, demigod. A demigod is an offspring of a God and a mortal.

The goddess prayed to her mother, but at the same time, she needed Hades the most. The all-powerful four rivers that joined with the River Styx can trap the souls there for eternity; however, Persephone had the golden blood of the Olympians. She would not let this naiad drown her with her madness and hatred. The goddess' quick reversal released her from her crippling fear and allowed her to lash back at Minthe with all her immortal strength. Using both of her hands, she grabbed hold of the nymph and dragged her back inland. Minthe was surprised at the sudden vigor of the dainty goddess. The naiad lost her power as soon as her body was out of the water.

But before the moment could unfold further, Niklaus wrapped his arms around me from behind, breaking the spell. "I have a gift for you, Queen Raven," he said, his voice low and mysterious. "After seeing your Luminari pair, I thought of their cousins, the Naiads – water Nymphs, also the last of their kind." Whisper and Finn fluttered in, anxious to see them. As Aethon opened the box, Whisper and Finn hovered beside me, excitement radiating from their tiny forms. Inside the box were five tiny Naiads, cowered with fear etched on their delicate faces – until they spotted Whisper on my shoulder, smiling warmly at them. Instantly, they flew to me, enveloping me in a lush, sensual embrace, their lu
