[Fineon’s POV] Pain rips through me as I take in the words that Titiana is saying. However, before I get the opportunity to let myself drown in them, Fallon collapses. "Hey!" I gasp, catching her before she hit the ground. "What the hell?" "Anika is out of energy and unable to keep control," Titiana responds. "And I’ve spent all my energy as well and must go." Even though I still have many questions in regards to what was said and what happened, I don’t argue. Instead, I simply nod and watch as Titiana disappears entirely.

I looked behind to see Alpha Titan standing there glaring at me with Blood shot eyes. "You thought you could run away from me?" He growled piercing my skin with his claws, "We are mates, you can never be free from me!" I whimpered in pain, "I will teach you a lesson." His grip tightened as he sneered at me. "Help!" I screamed at my mate and daughter, "Please help me." I yelled but they couldn't hear me it was like I was never there, "Please help me!" I croaked. "No one can save you!" Alpha Titan smiled wickedly as he threw me to the ground and unexpectedly his form was replaced by fay, the witch, it was no longer Alpha Titan, it was fay.

I would catch traces of scents that weren’t really there, and find myself murmuring apologies to empty rooms. She never answered. I used every connection I still had to investigate the so called “revenge” happened in the banquet that year. The evidence was laughably crude. There had never been any vampire acting on Elena’s orders to attack Sylvia. As I stared at the proof, I felt real cold for the first time. How could I have believed it? How could I not even ask her a single question, and instead push her to the opposite side with my own hands. When I found Sylvia, she was already clinging to a new protector, smiling carefully.

Titus spoke to me through his mind. 'Surprised?' I replied with sarcasm. After that, I didn't give Titus time to accept the truth. I attacked him fiercely, giving him back precisely what he had insulted me with. The battle was one-sided again; I was the dominant one this time. In the end, I trampled Titus under my feet, biting deep into his neck. The taste of his blood flowing into my mouth made me feel highly disgusting. He fainted from losing too much blood, and his body immediately transformed back into human form.

Nat says "Shit Titan leave her alone." Rach says grinning at Titan as she notices the blush spread across my face getting everyone's attention. She must have noticed what he was doing when i tried to half assed shrug him off, he just looks at her and shakes his head with a look of warning in his deep chocolatey brown eyes and looks away. The others all start to giggle at them clearly now knowing where Titans hand is now, noone bothering to save me from the rediculously attractive, mysterious, brooding guys torture.

Instead of giving me one, he pulled me close, kissing my forehead. He pulled back soon after that, one look in Tatianna’s direction, he got into the car and drove away. “Can you possibly believe that?” Annika scoffed, at some point during our interaction, I was able to recall her name. “It looks to me like the Blood-Moon Pack is asking for war. He attacked my husband in our own territory and couldn’t apologize!”

I felt like the ground had fallen away beneath me. Tyron’s mouth opened, closed, opened again. “Winter , please, you have to understand...” “Understand what?” I whispered, tears brimming. “That my mate lied to me? That my fiancé helped plan this attack? That my family’s home was compromised by someone I trusted? That Ayila’s own mother betrayed her?” Malashcar chuckled darkly. “Enough of the soap opera. I’m here for power. Not your little love story.” Tyron’s jaw clenched. “You’re insane.”
