Storm folded her lips, looked around her for the umpteenth time, before dipping her still shaking hands into the box and retrieving the feather. She looked at it keenly. It was red with flakes of blue. She tried comparing it with the beast she had seen in her dream, but nothing came up. The beast had been just a beast, without feathers. Where did this feather come from? She was sure that this box had been empty before she had dropped the book inside it before going to bed last night. Could it be from the book then? She turned her head to the side considering the possibility. Nothing turned up, but she held onto the feather, deciding to research the animal that possesses this unique feather.

She moved from where she had been standing, trying with all the courage she could gather, to go close to the feather, she made a move to hold it, but then, she stopped herself, afraid that it might hurt her in one way or the other, but then, with her eyes fixated on the feather, something stranger even happened. The feather started forming tiny holes around the corner, she could feel the porosity of the feathers, that surrounded her, it suddenly didn't feel so abstract anymore. She wasn't supposed to be able to see the air, but she was seeing the air, and feeling it. Falling Feather mumbled as he looked at her. “Does it hurt?” Willow asked. Falling Feather smiled at her, holding her close to him. “No, it is like magic takes my human body and gives me the animal form. I haven’t tried other animals yet, though. I wonder if I could take on the form of other animals.” Falling Feather told her with a smile.

Just as he prepared to leap off the skyscraper, he suddenly let out a soft sound of surprise and looked toward the sky. Not far away, a "bird" was flying toward him. The quotation marks naturally meant it wasn't a real bird. It was a person. A beast-transformation ability user. Oh? What a beautiful bird. Its feathers were brilliantly colorful, and its tail spread out like a rainbow, dazzling and magnificent. What species was that supposed to be? Once someone grew wings and feathers, they were technically bird-like, but there were far too many bird species to identify it immediately. It didn't resemble a crane. More like a peacock... though the tail looked somewhat different from a peacock's.

When she shifted her weight, the tips adjusted instinctively, spreading slightly wider, revealing their true breadth—each wing extending far beyond the width of her frame, broad enough that Cael could see their edges even from the front. Layered Emberlight shaped each feather with impossible precision. Long primaries swept outward in elegant curves, while shorter, denser feathers lay closer to her spine, overlapping like armour wrought from fire rather than metal. Veins of brighter gold threaded through each feather like living scripture, pulsing faintly in time with her breath. She slowly opens them and gasps with excitement. “I did it!!” She shouts, repeating herself several times while jumping up and down with glee. Her breast kept bouncing up and down, which I enjoyed of course. Her nine tails seemed to have gotten bigger as well. They stretched out enough to completely encase her entire body and possibly shield her from any attacks, from any direction. Her fur covered her body, except for her hands, feet, face, upper back, and her stomach. The purple color of her fur shined like sunlight shimmering on the surface of water.
