The fog slinks across the ground, wrapping around my ankles and giving my calves a chilly touch. As I reach the middle of the third ridge, I notice some movement. I heard a rustling sound on the left. Then a chuckle. Squeaky. That's really high. "Oh no," I mutter, slowing down. A glowing figure darts between the trees. Then another. Then three. Four. Glimmering, silvery, and suspiciously fox-shaped. "You lot again." The spirit foxes pop out, showing off their sharp little teeth and eyes that shine like polished moonstones. They bounce around me in a circle, their tails waving like flags.

The horse was going a bit fast and she didn’t know how to get it to slow down. The horse was taking her past the Triple K Garage and a loud pop came from the building. Then the animal reared back and stood on its hind legs. Brea screamed in terror as she hung on for dear life. The scream seemed to scare the horse further as it pawed the ground and then took off into a full run, across the field and toward the open prairie.

What is happening! A huge yellow fox with multiple tails comes jumping over the lower parts of the castle and over all of our heads. It begins running towards the gates, crying and screeching. Most of the vampires run out of it's way and back into the castle suddenly. Turning to face the fox, it begins scratching the door and jumping in place. A small black object rolls off of the back and onto the ground. As I squinted, I noticed bouncy hair and saw it was a shirtless person.

When I finally heard him, my blood ran cold. “Come here foxy fox. Come here, foxy fox. I wanna play some more.” Did my green eyes really give me away as the Fox, or was it a coincidence, because he seemed to like to give nicknames to the people he harassed? I sat in that tree for what seemed like forever. Besides my heartbeat, I heard nothing and saw nothing of Ezra.

One by one the tails of the Fox demon appear in every direction and continue to attack us. I've witnessed how he creates massive tornadoes with a single blow from his tails and how he flattens Stone Mountain with just a single swipe from it. Clarren tries to get closer to Dylan and me to give us instructions.

Although not big as the Cursed Gorilla, the crowd could feel that the Nine-tailed Fox is stronger than Frederick's spirit beast.

Sera sobbed, stumbling toward him, but the fox shifted its focus instantly, its gaze snapping back to her. All nine tails drew inward like serpents preparing to strike. Kade’s growl rolled through the air before the tails could descend. He staggered from the rubble, blood matting his fur, but his golden eyes burned hotter than ever. With a furious snarl, he leapt straight onto the fox’s back. His claws sank deep, raking down its spine. The fox screamed, twisting, thrashing, slamming itself into the ground to shake him off.
