The intense pressure has me gasping for air but I fight the urge to submit to him by releasing my own dominance.

Carmen screamed at me, I stopped dead in my tracks and then in a deep voice, and through gritted teeth I replied, “She's not a damn dog, she's my Fianna!” I then flew up into the night's sky as Freya shifted back into her human form, lovingly cradled in my arms. My gaze was sharp enough to send chills down anyone's spine. "And that alone is enough for me." The man stared at me in horror. For the first time, he realized the rumors were true. I was a devil in human skin... a heartless, merciless predator. And once I decided someone was a threat, they either disappeared... or learned to live in fear. I walked back to the couch and sat down. "Take him out of my sight." My voice carried irritation while my expression was indifferent. The bodyguards immediately grabbed the trembling man.

His eyes are still wide upon feeling my Alpha aura when I yank out his heart. He has not even dropped to the ground when I move for my next target. My lips remain tightly shut as I communicate with Xavian and Xian, who are already painted in the blood of the Omegas they have killed maliciously. One thing about the twins is they like to bathe in the crimson. “I am heading toward the rebel leader.” That is all I say as I race my way to the end of the campsite, where Adams Rivers is. Marcus and I exchange vows and as he leans down to his Lee, he whispers.

Chapter 15: First Revenge Step We hit the Caldwell hunting grounds just before dawn. The sky was the color of a fresh bruise, and the air tasted like pine, gunpowder, and vengeance. Victor cut the engines half a mile out.
