Life in the south was better than I could have imagined. I was put in charge of the Silver Moon Pack’s most sacred sanctuary, home to rare silver foxes, snow wolves, and the legendary moon-stags. My innate bond with the wild finally had a place to thrive. Whenever I walked through the sanctuary, the animals would approach me on their own. Felix shouted to be sure that Adam heard him from the stairs. “You can go fuck yourself Felix!” Adam shouted back.” Felix spent the next days going on different dates with different kind of people. He had felt a connection during some of those dates but some where just awful and depressing. He had gone on a date with a cat lady once. She had seemed pretty normal till the topic of pets came up. She then proceeded to show Felix her gallery of cats and all the things she liked and didn’t like about each and every one of her thirty two cats.

Felix from the west side spoke up menacingly. He was sitting in an armchair with one foot up on the chair. He was also bald, covered with tattoos from his head to his neck and arms. His tattoos were mostly of demons. Felix had a reputation for being crazy because when he had been fighting for territory, he had pursued someone for over five streets like a lunatic and killed that person and their entire family! He had become famous as a result of that battle! On the other side, Dominic of the east side looked grim. He said coldly to the underling standing next to him, "Tell Mr. Carson to hurry up and get out here! He gathered us all, but he's not even here. What is he playing at?"

Yara looked disgusting as a human and even more disgusting as a wolf. Felix knew his wife wasn't a very strong wolf since she was the princess of another pack before they married. He had also only treated her so sweetly and never had he made her learn any skill in fighting. Calhoun was always there to protect them, nobody saw the need to learn.

After hesitating for a moment, the Celestial Fox cautiously approached. Ambrose stood still, allowing the Celestial Fox to inch closer. The Celestial Fox was drawing nearer and nearer, and they would soon be able to capture it. But as it approached, the fox's nose twitched as it detected Ambrose's masculine scent. Its back arched, and its fur bristled with alarm. In a split second, Ambrose lunged forward, attempting to catch the fox. The Celestial Fox was lightning-fast. Sensing something was wrong, it swiftly changed direction and fled.

Chapter 36 Foxy’s POV I’m no longer Sam. I feel it so clearly as we walk to the table where Alpha Blair and my old friend Micki are waiting. Sam would never betray Micki by hooking up with her fiancé behind her back. Shit. What was I thinking? I didn’t know that was for sure. And, of course, the Alpha didn’t resist me either. If not, he welcomed my advances. I’m Foxy, and that will never change. I won’t dwell on the past anymore. I will continue my journey to my independence, but I need to be wise regarding what the Alpha can do for me. I need my wolves. It doesn’t matter how great Ace is; he can’t make me completely whole.
