They didn't stop though, they kept riding hard on their horses away from the fortress. Just before they got to the Blade lake river, they heard the howl once more and a big black wolf leaped out of the woods, the wolf ripped off the head of one of the guards and disappeared into the woods again- leaving the guard headless on the floor with his horse running off into the dark. I could see that Father was proud of her, and it pained me that I was once again the foolish one, as he looked down at me with a sneer. "Let's go." He ordered, and the hunters listened, all of them turning on their heels and heading back the way we came. I turned to look at the wolves and saw that they were already pulling Alex and the other wolf deeper into the forest on the other side. The fact that they were taking Alex instead of leaving him showed that they actually cared about him and the thought that they must be his family surfaced again.

His younger brothers followed behind him quickly. Our family had grown rapidly since everything went down. Since things had become calm. Things had changed drastically for the pack. She looked at me, her eyes flickering from brown to blue, which I assume was her wolf's eyes but shouldn't it be silver since her wolf name is silver?
