Escapades

Escapades

He gives his card to the clerk as she giggles towards us, scanning his card and gives it back to him. "Care to help me carry my stuff?" I ask sheepishly. He smiles and grabs some of my stuff as we walk out together. The rest of the ride was smooth. My brother kept rolling his eyes as he sees how Travis and I always manage to go from bickering to treating each other like best friends. He kept pocking at my food, and so did I biting his breakfast sandwich. Celeste sat shot gun with my brother and kept laughing at how we kept joking around and pocking each other like five year olds.

The Duke's Unwanted Wife

The Duke's Unwanted Wife

Traveling in a group was not strange and it was perfect for the spy who wished to enter the kingdom through the Southwest. As he expected, the topic on the lips of the travelers was the Extermination Campaign. Many of the people traveling were mercenaries who wished to offer their services to nobles without a powerful army to participate in the Extermination Campaign. It was a damgerous job but it came with many rewards and it was safer since they were traveling in a group.

The Lycan Prince’s Puppy

The Lycan Prince’s Puppy

They all moved back and forth, loading luggage while I was trying not to lose my mind. My eyes landed on Dylan and Trinity, who were both talking to Fergus and Sonya. The smallest smile reached my lips as they pulled both of them into a warm hug. Fergus hugging Dylan, or anyone for that matter, was still a strange occurrence. It was safe to say this trip had really changed him. All of us would be leaving for Starlight later. Me, Kylan, Dylan, Trinity, and Nate. We had decided to travel together by jet. Back to school and normal life, whatever that even meant anymore.

Cris
A year has already passed, and the book is still not finished. Although it is very well written (except for the chapters where the action drags), I have started to get bored. I keep waiting for “ the war that ends the world” but it never comes.

I used to wait for the chapters but now it is unnecessarily dragged on. Author builds up for climax so nicely but unfortunately it never comes which leaves reader frustrated and at some point gives up ( like me). Seems like lot of tease without any ending.

I am lost in this kind of City

I am lost in this kind of City

Chapter 24: Reunions As the traveler made his way through the bustling streets of the city, he was greeted by familiar faces and warm smiles, his heart swelling with happiness at the sight of the friends he had missed so dearly. "It's good to see you again, my friend," exclaimed one of the city's inhabitants, clapping the traveler on the back with a grin. "We thought you had been lost to us forever." The traveler smiled warmly, his gaze sweeping over the faces of the people who had become like family to him. "I could never stay away for long," he replied. "This city holds a special place in my heart, and I couldn't bear to stay away for too long."

The True Elemental Luna

The True Elemental Luna

"You're the ONLY brother-in-law she's ever had." "Well, now, that makes it even worse!" Doug said playfully. "How about the rest of our Moon Terror gang? Are they all here yet?" I smiled as I nodded my head. "Alice, Peter, Chloé, and Chris are with Sol, Celeste, Tyler, and Trish. They're doing the whole kid talk thing since Cira and Morris are the same age as Stella and Caellus." "Are we seriously the only ones riding the childfree train, besides my sister?" Nate asked with a fake confused expression.

The 500th Journey

The 500th Journey

My boyfriend proposed to me when we graduated from high school, but I made a deal with him instead of giving him an immediate answer. "We'll get married when we've collected 500 train tickets." In the first year, Marcus could hardly wait to come see me every day. Before long, our collection had grown to 280 tickets. He even laughed and said that he'd be able to take me home as his wife before graduation at the rate he was going. In the second year, we met each other halfway. Soon, the number of tickets climbed to 400. But in our third year, Marcus told me that his advisor had taken on a new project and that a junior who had just joined the research team needed him to show her the rope

The Kings Omega

The Kings Omega

And she would not be left behind. The next morning, as the sun rose over a city that was slowly, surely, beginning to heal, a small party rode out of the main gates. It was not an army, but a fellowship. A king and his queen, a handful of their most trusted guards, and a single, clear purpose. They were not fleeing. They were not retreating. They were riding into the heart of the wilderness, to the land of the mountain clans, to heal a wound, to reclaim a friend, and to forge a new alliance, one built not on fear, but on respect, on honor, and on the unbreakable bond of a shared past.

MY STEPFATHER’S SON IS MY FATED ENEMY

MY STEPFATHER’S SON IS MY FATED ENEMY

“They told others what happened.” The circle behind Rowan remained quiet. Stories had begun moving exactly as expected. “What did they say?” Derek asked. “That you fed them,” the traveler replied. “And?” “And that you told them the truth.” The traveler’s eyes moved across the group carefully. “Places that do both are rare.” Silence stretched between them for a moment. The man was not asking for food. Not yet. “I’m not starving,” he added quickly. “I’m carrying messages between territories.” Mara tilted her head slightly.
