Her Three Alpha Mates
Fighting the wendigo was like fighting death itself; every attack I landed healed in seconds, and every strike it dealt burned like fire.
I was done playing with this creature; I had to look for Aria. With one final move, I grabbed the creature by the leg with my jaws, shaking it like a rag doll before slamming it into the ground.
Without giving it a chance to fight back, I drove my clawed hand through its chest, gripping what should have been a heart. I snarled and ripped the heart out, tossing it onto the dirt.
The Wendigo shrieked. The ground trembled. Its body began to crumble, dissolving into ash that swirled away with the wind.
