The Werewolf's Bride
She screamed, raw, animal, claws raking down Kael’s arms as she convulsed.
He held tighter, growling low, pouring power into her through the bond until his own body shook.
Slowly, agonizingly, the shift stabilized.
Fur settled into a soft silver-gray pelt across her shoulders, arms, thighs, not full wolf, but more than before. Her eyes burned pure silver now, Kael’s eyes in her face. Claws remained extended, longer, sharper. Fangs lengthened just enough to press against her lower lip.
She gasped, panting, still kneeling in Kael’s arms.
