From her statement, it seems she thought Drogo was a male dragon. "What?" She said looking confused. "Drogo is a female '' I said with a glare, Freya was taken aback. I wasn't surprised, she knew nothing about dragons, so she had no idea. "Drogo is a female dragon? " She shouted in horror, looking at me with disappointment. " Why on earth would you give a female dragon a masculine name? The name Drogo sounds manly" she said looking at me with disdain. Her words and actions rendered me speechless. " I heard that when a dragon is born you alone can give it its name. What were you thinking when you thought of Drogo?" She questioned. "Goodness! There better names " she said again.

A ripple of movement spreads across the enemy formation. Two figures rise from the chaos below. Not soldiers. Not desperate followers. Generals. I feel their presence the moment they enter the sky. One is fae. The other dragon. They move together like two halves of the same blade. The dragon is massive—old scales darkened by centuries of battle. The fae warrior rides the creature’s back like a shadow carved from silver armor, his spear glowing faintly with ancient magic. They do not rush me. They circle. Studying.

I handed her my phone, and she took it in her hands and placed it in her cross-body freckled bag that suited her look perfectly. "Don't be scared, Love... I might look rough, but my dragon adores you," I said, cupping her cheek, and taking a step back, shifting into my magnificent beast. Yes, I was an earth dragon, but unlike my brothers, I was also a gifted dragon, just like Adam. Adam was the Emerald dragon, while I, Urien Dragnoir, had the Onyx dragon. A pure black beast. Elisa gasped and then ran her hand over my snout, and my dragon melted into her, and then huffed, lowering his head.

Horace leaned in, then roared, "Why is he blue? My son can't be blue!" Silence gripped the crowd. Everyone exchanged glances, no one daring to speak. Dragon royals were born red. It was an ancient rule. Other colors existed among common dragons, but never royalty. A blue dragon, born to the prince's concubine, screamed one thing. She had betrayed him. The crowd's stares burned, and Horace's rage boiled over. He lifted the child and smashed it to the ground, killing it instantly. The gruesome scene made me shudder.

“Master, what would you like us to do? You need only whisper your command, and we will follow.” Evrah grabbed the wood harder, her gaze darting quickly from left to right, trying to get a closer look. She spotted a big shimmering black dragon that seemed to be looking right at her. The big eye blinked, its big frame fidgeting a bit. A huge black and silver mass of scales and muscles sat directly across from her, its ginormous purple eyes had her dead to rites, and they both knew it. “Please don't give me way,” she whispered, shaking from fear. She cursed that her curiosity had gotten her noticed. The dragon blinked a final time and averted its eyes somewhere else as if it had heard her whisp

Dilo growled, her words raspier than usual from the shock still coursing through her. “That was something I had yet to share with anyone,” Rex sighed, reaching out to put a hand on Dilo’s. “Not the way I wanted anyone to find out, but what Smarluuten says is true, while in my realm, I was soul bonded with a dragon. His name was Fafnir.” “You share blood with the son of the eldest?” Smarluuten breathed, his small eyes widening, one of his hands trembling slightly. “We must pay homage to the high bloods. I will make all arrangements.”

I spent hours studying the text. I learned about Alice's Dragon, referred to in ancient languages as the 'Rare Healer of Fire.' This unique dragon was gifted with ancient magic. If the Rare Healer of Fire mated with another dragon, they would be reborn as humans but retain the ability to use dragon magic without their dragon forms.

Trenton asked, taking a few steps back. “Okay, I see your point. While I don’t believe my father would have done that, I will take your word for it. Since you can turn back time, I will want you to show me what really happened back then, but later.” Cyran answered Trenton, as I held my breath to keep myself from throwing up. “First, let’s get rid of that black Dragon Mark.” Trenton waved his hand and a female, about my age stepped forward. She looked tiny and I couldn’t imagine that she was able to contain a Dragon within her. I knew there were female Dragons, but this was the first time I had seen one.

We hear Ancalagon’s answering bellow and a few moments later, I can hear the wings of several dragons in the air. “What’s going on?” Keagan asks, fire lighting on his hand. I feel Ancalagon lower himself over top of us and I watch, enthralled as he lifts the fire off of Keagan’s hand and into the air, releasing it. “We don’t hurt others here,” he says to Keagan. “Who are you?” Keagan asks and I can hear the fear in his voice. “That’s Ancalagon, and I’m Kenzo. I’m an earth dragon like Avani and Amne here is a fire dragon, like you,” Kenzo says.
