Ace
I responded, stone-faced as I grabbed my purse from Tory's lap and fished out my phone.
I dialed Ace's number and waited. It rang once, twice, three times. He picked up on the fourth ring.
"Baby?"
"Hey," my stomach fluttered at the sound of his voice even if this wasn't the greatest of times.
"What's up?" He questioned cautiously, probably picking up something in my tone that I didn't care to hide.
He was a naturally perceptive man. Becoming a sniper only honed those instincts.
"Uh, well..." I drawled, whipping my head around to outright glare at Chambers' when he prodded my sister's temple which made her wince, "Chambers' is in my God damned car with a fucking gun pointed to Tory's head."
