The Unexpected Heir

The Unexpected Heir

Prominently highlighted was Article VII, Clause Delta. The figure continued, "However the Council is not without… leniency. A path to redemption exists. You have one week, Alexander Sterling, to fix this breach. You will present yourself before the Council.. You will bring the true heir. The one who can uphold the covenant. The child of the Sterling bloodline. Ready to serve." The woman with the gavel brought it down with a thud. Alexander stared at the screen horrified. The true heir. They didn’t just want his company; they wanted Leo. His son, who was currently undergoing tests for a heart condition was now a pawn in a generations-old game.

The Alpha's Possession

The Alpha's Possession

"I know who my father was. Alpha Kael's brother. That's not a secret anymore." "That's part of it. But not all of it." Victoria pulled out a folder. Held it up. "May I?" I nodded. She opened it and showed us documents. Old records. Birth certificates. Property deeds. "Your father wasn't just Kael's brother. He was the original heir. First born. Entitled to the alpha position before Kael took it through what we'll politely call questionable means." "That's ancient history," Stefan said. "Doesn't matter now."

Forsaken by the Moon Goddess

Forsaken by the Moon Goddess

He holds my gaze and challenges every reason my brain comes up with that he’s here with me tonight for any reason other than he wants to be with me. “So, you’re not a choice of successor. You’re an heir,” he says slowly, as if trying to comprehend what I’m saying. “I’m not just AN heir, Benedict. I’m THE heir,” I say quietly. “What do you mean?” “When my grandfather met my grandmother, his fated mate, he didn’t accept her. He didn't realize that she had Alpha blood. You know how second sons become Betas and second sons of Betas become Gammas, etc?” I ask.

The Billionaire’s Regret

The Billionaire’s Regret

Alessa asked as she bit her lip. “Okay. First thing you should know is, Bryan is the head of the family now and he has everything in his name and not yours. Do you want to know the craziest part? Aiden isn't the heir, it's Aria. Aria is the heir to the Hart’s fortune while Aiden is the heir to mine.” Alessa explained and his eyes widened in shock.

This is one of my favorite stories on GN. It’s been such a nerve-wrecking and engaging read. I will wholeheartedly miss Dalvin :”) Thank you, Author. An epilogue would be lovely if you ever consider it.

ADOPTED HEIR

ADOPTED HEIR

Nathaniel answered. "Okay, I'll do just that." His mom responded. Few seconds later his father's voice came up. "Hello Nathan, what is it?" "Dad. I have something important I need to tell you." Nathaniel sounded urgent. "What is it? Hope there is no problem with my company?" His father asked. "No, I want to take a leave. I.. I have something important to do back in Washington. You know Isabella Asher Queen right? The current heir of Queens empire?" Nathaniel asked.

I frowned, trying to slow myself as I shoveled food into my mouth. “I think that man is my dad. I saw my mom in his memories, they were together for some time. It was before he found his mate, and she hers.” Helena whispered, her eyes down on her plate. “He was an Alpha, Rachel.” My chewing slowed, and I eyed Helena in an entirely different light. With our species, an Alpha’s firstborn is always his strongest. They’re always the fastest, strongest, or most cunning. It doesn’t matter whether or not the couple are mates, but that first child, it means everything.

Such a well written book and the story really drags you in, I’ve enjoyed reading this so much and hope a sequel comes out. I really feel this book should be printed, I’d read it over and over again. The book is long but it’s well worth it.

The author has a fantastic ability to keep me on the edge of my seat and a great ability to describe the scenery around the characters. I find the characters to be mostly well defined and consistent throughout the book. There are some typos and incorrect grammar, but not enough to disturb me complet

The Day She Stopped Waiting

The Day She Stopped Waiting

Loud enough for everyone to hear. "Thomas." The Heir froze. Immediately. Then the man continued. "I have crossed an ocean to meet you." Silence. Then: "Will you greet your brother?" The world stopped. Completely. Then Thomas blinked. Once. Twice. Then: "What?" The stranger smiled wider. Then pointed directly at him. "The First Heir was not your ancestor." Pause. Then: "He was your father." Nobody breathed. Nobody moved. Nobody understood. Then the stranger laughed softly.

10 chapters in and I hope it’s second chance book. I love a good “leaving my shitty husband for a better man” plot but sometimes I love a good “I need to get my wife back” plot as well. Sometimes I want to read about how a relationship was pulled back from the brink and I feel this is goi to be it.

The Charismatic Charlie Wade

The Charismatic Charlie Wade

After that, he stood up and bellowed furiously, "Whoever can recover the treasure tower is definitely the top contributor to the family and can ensure the family's prosperity! It's reasonable to make him the head of the family!" "But... But..." Julien begged, "Father, ever since you took the position, I've been the first heir for years, and my eldest son, Royce, is the second heir to the family. We've been trained and educated as heirs for years. If some lucky bastard accidentally finds the treasure tower somewhere, wouldn't all our efforts over the years be in vain? T-This is unfair..."

Bound to the moon

Bound to the moon

I said again, my voice steady, ringing across the chamber. Elder Darius leaned forward in his seat, studying me with an expression I couldn’t read. Kael and Thorne didn’t move, but I felt their tension like a storm bottled inside the room. Celina’s smile was thin and sharp, and Lyra’s eyes glittered with something darker than disapproval. I drew in a breath. “First—my child will be recognized as an heir. Not whispered about, not hidden, not compared. An heir, as much as any born before or after him.”
