It was my birthday, I was going to turn 10 today. I was super excited about my birthday. My parents made sure they went all the way out to celebrate my birthday to make sure it was better than the previous ones.

That’s almost a ten-year gap, a decade per se, and that gap seemed to translate as if I’ve been alive since the time of the dinosaurs. Or maybe I was just exaggerating but that’s how I feel.
