Flowers for My Grave

Flowers for My Grave

Lucas dashed home and headed straight for the balcony. He grabbed the flowerpot near the railing and carefully wiped away the dirt that clung to it. I stood nearby, momentarily stunned by the sight of the pot. This was the very pot we had bought when we first married, and it had once contained seeds for red roses. Lucas had said then, “I will never fall in love with you. You know why I married you.” I laughed softly as I replied, “I don’t believe that. Let’s see how it plays out. I bet you’ll love me passionately, just like this red rose.”

FLOWERS OR DOLLARS

FLOWERS OR DOLLARS

I caught the sight of her exposed thigh from the slit dress she wore, and I could feel my heart racing faster. I stood up abruptly, presenting the flowers to her as a way of hiding the enormous nervousness I felt. “Sunflowers for a lady who is as beautiful and bright as the sun" “With all pleasure, sire" Natalie said, receiving the flowers. “Thank you so much Maurice, the massage, I feel better now" I kissed her hands while she smelt the flowers. “Let's eat Nat, it's getting late. Tell me about Letticia, your new friend!"

Mysterious Husband: Pampering Wife

Mysterious Husband: Pampering Wife

“Brother Turner, you came at the right time. The rainbow roses are blooming. Look at how beautiful it is!” Yosef looked in the direction she pointed and saw two flowers blooming on a rose bush. The colors of the flowers were very rare. They consisted of seven colors—red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet. They were known as rainbow roses, also seven-color roses and happiness roses. Their flower language was romance, dreams, happiness, beauty, and nobility. In addition to their vibrant colors, they also exuded a sense of sweetness. They were very rare, and it was Yosef who asked the gardener to carefully cultivate them. He wanted to give them to Yvonne as an expression of his af

CEO's Revenge Game

CEO's Revenge Game

She needed some fighting spirit to compete with her! As her footsteps moved through the corridor, she quickly arrived at Chiyoko's bedroom door, which was left ajar. She overheard Nancy enthusiastically persuading her to consume various supplements. Chiyoko was arranging a bunch of champagne roses one by one into a flower vase, wearing a sweet and contented smile. Those vibrant champagne roses were Flora's favorite, symbolizing nobility and purity. Raising her shoes, Flora involuntarily walked towards that exquisite bouquet. Her appearance caught Nancy's attention, who looked at her with a hint of gloating before leaving. Chiyoko also noticed her, and her smile deepened.

he said. "Yes," Thomas said. "Seventh spring," Don confirmed. He said it in the tone of the confirming — the prediction met, the evidence received. Ernest looked at the roses. He thought about the ninth year of the arrangement when the roses had been planted — the year of the naming, the year of the quince blossom setting, the year after Greece. The roses had been planted in the autumn of the ninth year and were now in the seventh spring of their planting and the seventeenth year of the arrangement.

he said. Then he opened the box, and inside was a beautiful plant with a large flower bud. “That is gorgeous, I have never seen a plant like it before,” I said as I looked closer in the box at it. “It is as rare as you, my queen. The flower bud only opens once every seven years,” Adam said. Just as I was going to thank him again and offer him in for tea, the flower slowly opened, and sprayed a dusting of pollen at my face, causing me to cough.

That means I did that, didn't I? I closed my eyes and wanted nothing more than to tear it into pieces angrily and throw it away. But I need to go on. If I wanted to move on I had to read it. she mused, her words capturing the essence of what was happening in that space. One afternoon, Ren, a quiet presence in the studio, brought in a bundle of dried flowers, placed them next to the notebooks, and whispered, “Offerings. For everyone who wrote what hurt.” The flowers, delicate and enduring, seemed to embody the resilience and beauty of those who had shared their stories.

The wife he left behind

“It’s not possible,” Mac said quietly, standing at the edge of Hope’s garden, looking at the small oak sapling with its cluster of pale, impossible blossoms. “Oaks don’t flower in October. They barely flower at all in the traditional sense. Something else must be growing through it.”

Gen YA
The storyline is good but I hope the author should refrain from so many redundant repetitive words, dialogues, side thoughts, actions of the characters, which are becoming an annoyance, tiresome to read further, just be direct with the story.

Chapter 32 and I cannot stop. A very young boy deciding to find everyone the world forgot, it sounds simple until you’re actually reading it and realising how profound it is. Dave doesn’t feel like a fictional child. He feels completely real. And every chapter ends right, this book is amazing!!!
