Her eyes went to the books on the table, and she stood up and walked over. "Can I?" She asked, turning to me. "You can't take them." She nodded. "These are romance books. Smuts." She noted as she flipped through the pages. Her eyes sparked when she saw one she seemed to recognize. "Romantasy." Whatever the hell that means. "I never pinned you for someone interested in romance books." A smile appeared on her face now and I was grateful that she found something more interesting than me. "They are not mine." She turned to me fully. "Whose are they?"

I glanced at the book she was reading, the cover bright and dramatic, with a couple locked in a passionate embrace. My eyebrows shot up and as my gaze drifted to the shelves lining her side of the room, my jaw nearly dropped. If I thought the cover of that one was five percent sexual, then the rest were hundred. Books were everywhere, stacked, lined up neatly, or scattered in small piles. Most of them had similar covers, all romance novels with titles that made me blink twice. “You’ve got a collection,” I said, half-impressed and half-shocked. Her cheeks turned crimson, the blush creeping all the way to her ears. She looked like she wanted the floor to swallow her whole.

It was Brayan and someone else. Could that be his office? But it was on the other side of the house. I made a mental note to ask Elowen when next I saw her. I looked through the shelves searching for the perfect book to read. There were so many and I was confused on the one to choose. Nevaeh always mentioned romance was the best but I knew romance has a lot of cheesy things. I wanted more of action with a bit of romance and lots of erotica. I picked out a worn out book. A man and a woman in a sensual position but the name had been torn out.

Anyways, I will going to tell you already. These stories really stand alone, okay? That means, you can read them even if they are not consecutive and read them in a shuffle, it will have no effect on the story. It wil be just your choice. So, I think that would be all.
