She lets out a vicious hiss that reminds me of the deranged stray cats that lurk in the streets on Earth. “The scourage!!” She hisses again as she releases the Kindred, as if touching him suddenly burns her. She performs a backflip, landing in a crouching position with one arm extended behind her head, high in the air. “Traitor!!” She growls, her eyes turning pitch black with rage. “TRAAAIITTTOOORRRR!!!” She screams again in a high pitch shrill that has everyone in the eatery hall cowering with their hands over their ears.

Her mouth opened, then closed again. From beside me, Lily began to shake. Her little hands twisted in her shirt. Her breathing turned shallow. “Lily?” I crouched down. “Sweetheart? It’s okay. You’re okay.” But she didn’t hear me. Her mouth opened—and she screamed. A loud, terrified wail. The panic hit her like a wave. “Lily!” Susan cried, rushing to her. “Baby, it’s okay!” But Lily’s knees buckled as she shrieked again. Her body trembled. She flailed her arms.

Could it have actually spoken to me? "Did... did you just speak?" I stammer again, my voice filled with disbelief. Flutter looks up at me with its wide eyes, seemingly innocent and oblivious to the profound impact of its words. It emits a soft chirping sound as if it's trying to communicate further.

Luna screaming in agony "Ahhh! Stop, Mary! Are you crazy?" Mary dragged Luna holding her hair shouting that Luna shouldn't exist and it's all Luna's fault, Luna is screaming hard with pain, both of them fighting near the stairs as Luna making Mary to let go of her hair while Mary was reluctant to let Luna's hair to go from her grip, that's when Luna lost her balance near the stairs, and a huge scream of Luna escaped from her mouth, "ahhhhhh." Susan, horrified and in shock, watched as her friend fell, unable to reach her in time to break the fall. Luna's screams filled the air as she collided with the unforgiving stone steps, her body twisting unnaturally.

Her scream pierced the air, a raw, hysterical sound that sent shivers down my spine. "How does it feel? Watching the one you love die right in front of you!?" she shrieked, her words twisting the knife of anguish already lodged in my heart. I was on the brink of unraveling, my emotions shredded by the brutal reality unfolding before me. Just as I thought I couldn't endure another moment of this torture, a commotion erupted at the edge of the clearing. My brother Ramses burst through the barrier, followed closely by Atreyu and the rest of my men, their arrival a welcome distraction from the unmitigated hell that had been unleashed upon me.

I scream, the sound ripping out of my throat. My body refuses to move, as fear roots me to the spot, stealing all strength from my legs. So I do the only thing I can. I shut my eyes tightly, my whole body trembling as I brace myself— Waiting for the end, as the creature lunges straight at me.

Another scream followed, deeper this time, then shouts—many voices, all rising at once. Panic erupted through the stillness.
