Ryker fired his gun and I saw it hit the wolf. Well, it should have since it did hit directly between its eyes. From this angle, I noticed something I hadn’t before. The darts tranquilizers I shot hadn’t touched him, just as Ryker’s bullet hadn’t. It was barely noticeable, but I saw a blue light shimmer when the bullet hit. If it weren’t for Ryker saying that others believed his brother was part witch, I wouldn’t have put two and two together. It wasn’t that I couldn’t wound him, it is because he shielded himself.
