“Marinetta, Harley... please, help me.” Harley approached cautiously, the pendant glowing brighter. “We’re here, Silas. Let’s end this.” As the pendant’s light enveloped Silas, the ghost rider’s spirit screamed in rage. “No! You cannot defeat me!” But the light grew stronger, and Silas’s body convulsed as the dark energy was expelled. With a final, agonized scream, the ghost rider’s spirit was torn from Silas, dissipating into the night. Silas collapsed, the dark energy gone. Marinetta and Harley rushed to his side, relief washing over them.
