Her boss abused her mentally and made her life hell. She fell pregnant during those moments, and because he overworked her day and night, she ended up having a miscarriage. Her pregnancy was only three months old.

“What kind of dump clinic is this from? You skipped the Bresses’ private hospital to go to some unknown clinic? Rosie, you’re conniving, aren’t you, faking a report?!” I tried to explain, voice shaking. “I’m not lying. I felt unwell at the mall, so I stopped at the nearest clinic. He never felt so weak before, and never faced a defeat so painful like this. He had lashed out at them, gripping their collars with fury, demanding they save her. What the doctors said still echoed in his mind like a death sentence, "Her chances are slim. Her body is too weak. The pregnancy is killing her, she’s too young, too traumatised. He doesn't flinch from it. "I left that night and I went home and I found out two weeks later that I was pregnant. My legs were frozen to the spot as I stared at him in disbelief. He was actually threatening my grandfather's life! Grandpa was my only family—how could I let anything happen to him? Seeing no way to reason with him, I grew even more desperate, my voice choked with emotion. "Steven Landers, I'm carrying your child! I'm eight months pregnant! That drop tower could make me miscarry or trigger my heart condition. Are you really going to force me to take that risk?"

I nodded my head in agreement. For a while we were quiet and all you could hear was just byth of us breathing, eating. I should probably tell her about Maria. But what if she goes into shock? Or has an heart attack?? Or even chokes on her food?! "I got someone pregnant." I blurted out and she looked at me wide eyed. "Jack Adrian Vance!!" Shit not the full name!!!

My blood froze in my veins. “When I got there, I got the papers and booked a session with the doctor, it was supposed to happen a few days later... When I came back the doctor cancelled, he was busy with something else. I was so angry and I looked for other ways, pills upon pills but nothing worked so I gave up and decided to keep her to make my husband happy... I didn't want to have a kid, she forced herself into this world and this may sound strange but she's not my responsibility." I got into the car.

And just like that, the police took me away. During the interrogation, an officer asked me, “Why are you trying to force your sister-in-law to abort the child?” I replied flatly, “My family’s parrot said the baby was an abomination that must not be kept. So, I took her to terminate the pregnancy.” The officer became furious and threw his pen on the table. “That’s nonsense!” I let out a cold laugh. “Officer, do you have any proof that I’m talking nonsense?”
