Novel & Cerita Forsaken Characters Survivors

The full moon hung above them, pale and unblinking, breaking through in sharp and cold intervals. Its light was no longer gentle and everything in him already knew this was no longer about containment. It was about survival.

Lilith had raised them. Not puppets, not whispers of memory—the Forsaken. Warriors betrayed by their own kin, murdered, their names erased from history. And now, they marched for her.

Everyone betrayed everyone eventually, and the idea of a simple life, a quiet home, or children who could grow up without learning how to kill before they learned how to read had become impossible. Vera had been one of the survivors who had to grind harder, hunt harder, and cut more heads than anyone around her just to stay alive. She had never received an ability. Her body had never mutated into anything useful. By the end, she barely looked human at all, all sharp bones, old scars, sunken cheeks, and eyes that had seen too much rot to believe in mercy. Still, she had stayed alive until betrayal finally caught her by the throat. That part was not new either. Betrayal had been as common as b

I say, walking out to go find it. “Alpha, you’re awake,” one of my nurses says. “Yes, did I miss anything important?” I ask, looking around and finding a couple pieces of paper and a pen. “No. The injured have all been released, except for Alpha Waylon. However, the four mates who lost their loved ones are still here recovering.” “But we didn’t lose any of them?” I ask.

The warmth of the evening air turned cold as Serena stared at the symbol seared into the paper—a jagged moon bleeding black ink, surrounded by thorned runes. Her fingers clenched around it involuntarily. The Forsaken. Once thought annihilated, they were little more than whispers in the dark, monsters parents warned their children about. But Serena knew this wasn’t folklore. It was real. The mark pulsed with the kind of malevolent energy that couldn’t be faked.

And I was failing. I tried finding shelter—small caves, hollowed trees, anywhere I could rest my eyes. But the creatures here were always watching. I could feel them. Some were wolves, feral and mindless. Some were worse. And now… now it was night again. The moon barely broke through the clouds above as I lay tucked beneath a crumbling cliff, knees pulled to my chest. My whole body ached, my lips cracked from the cold. Hunger gnawed at me like a wild thing.

His blood was real — not immortal, not divine, just the blood of a living being. He sat up. Around him, the world had changed. The Holy Spire collapsed. Crimson Pact vanished. And on the foundation of destruction, grass grew through cracks. Valenfort had not died. It was learning to breathe again, like him. --- Lucien walked into the square. There, souls once trapped in Genesis Blood dissolved into wind, faint lights fluttering like birds. A group of survivors watched him. Unsure whether to fear or kneel. A gray-haired girl asked softly:

He let that sink in before he made his final move. “My family died twice, Eleanor. I failed to save them. You failed to save your mother. Our regressions did not make us gods. They just gave us knowledge of the game. A game that is clearly rigged against us. Our goal cannot be to simply replay the past. Our goal must be to survive it.” He looked at her, his expression now one of a fellow survivor, a fellow soldier.

The sunlight caught her satin dress, making her look like a goddess. But to me, she was devil in disguise. The hall erupted. Gasps. Murmurs. Faces twisted in disgust. From the moment she stepped into this packhouse, everything changed. Logan, the mate the Moon Goddess chose for me—grew colder, distant. She was the lone survivor of a rogue massacre. Her entire pack had been wiped out in one bloody night. Men, women, children—slaughtered like animals. And somehow, she crawled out of the ruins, her body drenched in blood, her eyes blank.

She couldn't even recognize friend or foe and just included them in her plan. They tried to make her calm, but she just couldn't. She has passed the point of no return. They had no choice but to kill her. While they battled, humans had nowhere to turn to, except their creator. The almighty God they worshipped. Survivors started pleading to God on their knees to save them. Children were losing their parents, while the wives had become widows. Husband loses his household, and all hope seems to be sipping away until the other archdemon appearance.
