Dirty Wild Sultan (Alluring Rulers of Azmia 4 Books)

“You have it bad, don’t you?” “I do,” I sighed. “It’s almost time. I will go get her. Please do not run around and start a fire again.” “Good luck! Don’t piss your pants. And that was one time, Khalid,” Zayed called out to me. “One time!” I walked past the crowd, smiling and greeting anyone who talked to me with awe on their faces. The foster house was in much better shape. I had paid to get it renovated with fresh beige paint, colourful walls in kids’ room, new furniture, floors and an extra playroom and library. It felt like home when I decorate it with volunteers the day before. Putting flowers in the vases, framing few paintings and posters with pictures of foster kids with their forever

Proximity Hazard

Details always mattered to me. I ran my thumb over the edge of the desk, slow and deliberate, grounding myself the way I tell my guys to ground themselves when they’re about to do something stupid. Then I did something worse. I bypassed the surface summary. It wasn’t hard. Evan would’ve said that he can do it while jacking off. Evan can go choke on a flash drive. The file opened wider. And there it was. Not all of it. But it was enough. Foster placements. Multiple foster placements. Relocations. Patterned like someone had been moved too often to ever unpack.

Foster

Foster

Waddled up to the door of the Victorian on the bend. Their life seemed perfect. I suppose I was wrong. In any case, the Fosters were inseparable—even when she got older. They would waltz around town laughing; sit at cafes looking like someone ought to be photographing them for a perfume campaign. And it stayed that way for a while, mind you. Until Chloe climbed out from a Taxi—and this I saw through my kitchen window.

“I don’t know why you are telling me this.” She sighed. “Charlie, the Foster family isn’t normal. They are dangerous and powerful.” He shifted in his chair. “I know that. And Mr. Foster is fair.” “I’m sure he is,” she replied. “Right now.” “What does that mean?” he asked. “It means,” she said carefully, “that as long as you are useful, as long as you’re loyal, as long as you don’t complicate things…you’re safe.” His stomach tightened. “Safe from what?”

he asked. I took a deep breath and walked over to my foster father's desk. It was weird calling Charles my Foster father, I hadn't even thought about it when I was in the cottage, but now it was different. I scanned through the piles of books and papers that littered the surface. It was always a mess in here, but I was just looking for something which can be useful for protection. I reached for a leather-bound journal, its pages worn and tattered from constant use.

The Favor: A Forbidden Stepbrother Collection

The Favor: A Forbidden Stepbrother Collection

After a rather embarrassing checkout we head back to Annie’s house where she promptly gets on the intercom, “George! Bedroom! Five minutes!” She tosses me a wink and disappears, leaving me to take my new toys to the bedroom. I pull out the blue man book and toss the rest of the bags under the bed before sitting down and cracking it open. The first few chapters were a bit much and I almost stopped reading, but once I got to the horns as handlebars scene I was hooked. I didn’t even notice James come in and lay beside me until he snorts, “what’s the point of a spur on his dick?”

The Second Wife's Revenge

The Second Wife's Revenge

They were working on it together. A foster care caseworker in Arizona. Read the childhood chapters. Said she was changing how she approached children in her care who seemed unreachable. Looking for the window with the broken latch. Every Sunday. More letters. Different lives. Same recognition. The numbers Claire reported were equally overwhelming. First printing sold out in two days. Second in a week. Third printing ordered before the second was distributed. By the end of the first month: four hundred thousand copies. By the end of the second month: New York Times bestseller list. Number one. By a margin that made Claire's voice do something undignified when she called to tell me.

The Algorithm of Her Heart

The Algorithm of Her Heart

By the following Monday it was on the bestseller list. The response was larger than either of them anticipated. Dominic had expected the business community to read it with interest because of who he was professionally. He had expected foster care advocates to respond because of the subject matter. He had not expected the volume of messages from ordinary people who had grown up in difficult circumstances and recognized themselves in his story. He had not expected the letters from adults who had aged out of the system and said they felt seen for the first time. All proceeds from the book went to foster care reform organizations. Dominic made this clear in every interview. The money was not the

So, he sent a copy of Steve’s computer data to them. He did this so they could go through the records. If there’s one thing about the Orrathium Kingdom, it’s that they teach history to their younger generations so they’d understand what they’re part of. This made it easier to access historical records. And he was able to decipher the truth. Foster wasn’t the bad guy—if anything. The story began when he was cast out of the family because he opposed their father’s ideals. The records didn’t contain much accurate detail, but Kaelithar learned that after being dismissed, Foster continued his life within the kingdom.
