" [A random song] I continued dancing as I stared at the dresses, running my hands through them with fascination in my eyes. These were the kind of dresses I would have only seen and touched in my dreams if it were a few months ago, but right now, I could stand and ponder which of them to even put on. She looked aggressive and intimidating.

Only my left foot is over the border, another stupid thing that makes no sense. My head's throbbing so hard I refuse to get up. But I want to, as a pitch-black, human-like hand grabs my foot. I try to kick away the one holding me, but the long nails dig into my skin, securing a firm grip. I cry out as the creature grabs my other foot and tries to pull me over the border. It almost succeeds when it suddenly lets go of me. I look up and watch Kane, holding the mysterious beast by the throat. An angry growl escapes his lips as Kane throws it against the nearest tree.

Mrs Grayson,wiped a tear from her eyes as she spoke. I reached for her hands and took it in mine. "It's okay." I reassured her. "When I met him,I was only seventeen. We use to be highschool sweethearts. We were just kids. My Foster dad tried to take advantage of me so I ran away and I stayed with Justin. He was my best friend. His parents were never home and they really didn't care. We were two lost kids but we loved each other." She looked at me,like she was looking through me.

Meme and I both laugh at her absurd behavior, “I’d love to see them try! I consensually marked your body, that’s it.
