Level 5 — Surface Exit The final stairwell opened onto a towering blast door, ten feet tall, bristling with locks. Ellie’s lungs burned as she stumbled forward. She slammed the stolen badge against the reader. It blinked green. The second lock lit up. PALM SCAN REQUIRED. Her stomach dropped. “No! I don’t have clearance—” Cerebus brushed past her. He lifted his paw. Massive. Scarred. Trembling with heat and power. He pressed it flat against the scanner.

I despised being the bearer of bad news. “Do you need help, Leo?” Anthony picked up his phone from the table. “I will be needing some of your men. Tag along, Anthony. I want to take out the men of Vogar. But no bloodshed. I’ve had enough with that.” Anthony’s brow raised. “I doubt it’s possible to tame the animals without spilling blood.” “If it isn’t possible. We’ll create that positivity. Get me clothes.” Anthony strolled to the walk-in closet. In just seconds, he returned with a pair of trousers and a short sleeve shirt. He handed them to the beast. “I will get my men and cars ready,” Anthony stormed away.

I ran to the window trying to open it too but it’s also useless. “No! No!” I screamed out loud as I tap the glass door. The fire sitting on the torch made my heart beat even faster. Dad is holding that torch by his right hand bringing some explosives with him. My stepmom is also walking from his back. “Angelo!” I called him. I saw how the forest is eaten by fire slowly as I hear a series of explosions. “No!”
