Agent Graves opened the door before we had even finished climbing the porch. “Good evening, sir," Agent Graves said, glancing at Adam and back at me protectively in front of Freya. “Let them come in,” Freya said. He kept glancing at us, still suspicious, before stepping aside and letting us in. When I picked some people to investigate, Freya had requested that I add agent Grave, as he’s her partner, but the trouble was, he’s human, doesn’t know about us, and lives in a town outside of our pack.

I begged him to help us. “Do you know them?” the man asked. My boss moved his gaze from mine to the man's. “That girl is mine.” The men laughed after hearing what my boss said. The man with the knife in his hand then said to my boss, “Since this girl is yours, then we no longer have to worry about the money. Is that right Mr. Gray?”

The girl did the same, snarling. “Cora now!” Her lips moved, and she stretched forth her hands in my direction. At the same time, he whooshed towards me, but I sidestepped him to knock the girl out. “No!” He came at me again, and with a quick reflex, I shoved him aside and grunted as I felt a blow to my stomach. “Yo Kyle!” “I'm glad you are awake, Drew,” Kyle said.
