There are so many mythical creatures it makes me wonder was is actually myth and what is real. Out of the corner of my eye I see fairies come out of the forest. They appear to be look like humans but with pointy ears like an elf and gigantic wings. Their clothes look to be made out of leaves, flowers and other things you would find in the forest. The female fairies appear to all have long beautiful hair that reaches their butt. Some have it in braids and some let if hang freely. As the fairies walk closer I notice their eyes are cat-like, making me wonder if they glow like a cats as well.

Of course, I'm considered a Princess because of my parents' status as royalty but still not used to the title. I look around to observe this underground village; everything seems peaceful and colorful. The houses are either made of wood, rocks, or plants in the renaissance style in medieval times. So many flowers, everyone. A few flowers open and reveal tiny fairies waking up from their naps as they greeted me welcome. There are varieties of fairies living here; mushroom fairies, tree fairies, flower fairies, water fairies, and fairies that look primarily like insects. These fairies are much smaller than Feno. There are varieties in sizes as well.

The world was a canvas of wonder, and the forest seemed to pulse with secrets. It was then that the Daryad fairy, a delicate ethereal being with wings adorned in glistening dewdrops, appeared before Ava. The fairy's presence was both enchanting and comforting, a guardian spirit in the moonlit haven. It's interesting trying to make that work amongst humans. Water fairies tend to travel with the open water and the location depends on the season. It makes it a little easier to appear like we moved away for good, only to come back and find out the humans have forgotten about us for the most part. It's amazing what a name change and new hair do can accomplish. If we happen to get recognized, we hear the 'you remind me of someone' or 'you look familiar' lines, just for us to shrug it off and act clueless.

Both Torin and Cadac were laughing at me. "What?" I question them both. Torin turned me and my eyes widened at the numerous fairies fluttering about. "Fairies are real?" I gasp. She and Gabrielle danced with Pocahontas in the wind, and she can't forget when she fought a war with Mulan. Fairytales had always been her thing. So her imagination conjured up what she thought the Fae World would look like; gold, silver, and shimmer everywhere. She even pictured pink talking clouds that tasted like cotton candy. But to her dismay, she wasn't prepared for the truth.

At least I hope they are fairies, the good kind, not faeries the bad kind. Apparently, the only way to distinguish between them is how they spell fairy.
