The Heartless Alpha’s Beloved Luna
Mine, down to the slight asymmetry of the points.
“Read it,” my mother said.
I read it. The story only ran four pages. A huntsman loved a woman who was mated to another man, so he walked into the deep woods and traded a precious jewel to a witch, who traded back a charm. A silver crescent pendant, to be given to the woman as a gift.
According to the fairytale, the princess put on the pendant and felt her initial mate bond grow dim, then dull, then disappear, until her heart sat hollow in her chest and she turned to the huntsman to fill it.
