She is not taking that. She moved closer to Ariel and took the basket. "Go get yours. We can get enough fruits for everyone in the house. I am sure they would want some." Ariel nodded and left to get another basket. When she returned, they went on to get the raspberries. "We can get other fruits too," Valerie told Ariel. "Not everyone loves raspberries." Ariel nodded and they went on to get other fruits; from apples, to oranges, to strawberries, to bananas and more.

I wipe the corner of my eyes and nod, giving her a small grateful smile. “Your words… mean a lot to me.” She smiles back, patting the back of my hand. “I'm glad I could make you feel better.” I nod, blinking back the tears threatening to escape my eyes. “Nanny, can you help me make a basket of fruit? I need to take it to Brandon at the hospital.” She nods immediately and goes to get a basket and starts arranging the fruit. She adds apples, bananas, grapes, and small packets of nuts. She ties a ribbon around the handle.

It isn’t helping much. I stare out the window until a hand lands gently on my lap. It’s a slight touch, but my body is quick to react to it like the flip of a switch. I peel it off with an embarrassed smile. Rhys frowns in confusion. My heart is on the verge of jumping out of my throat as I whisper the word I thought I would never use. "Pineapples." Rhys blinks. It takes him a few moments to register the safe word.

“So cool.” “You find it cool?” He knelt on the ground. Checking the content of the basket. The first one was filled with different sizes of containers and napkins. While the others are full of fruits like mangoes, apples, oranges and some grapes. It was more than enough for the two of them. “Yeah.” His arms were clutching at the rock. Peaking at Henrick’s action. “I mean, even if I became as rich and powerful as you, I don’t think I would be able to make my people feel scared in my presence.”

Kavan frowned, "What fruit have you foraged? I have made sure that everything within this forest would harm nothing." Fyn rolled his eyes. He probably only wanted the only thing harmful in this forest to be him, he thought. One of the Nǣps approached Kavan. It was carrying the same leaf basket that Kavan had used to wrap the fruits he gave to Fyn. Inside were tan-colored small circles. Fyn squinted his eyes and jolted in place once he realized just what it was. He knew it was familiar! Thinking of nothing else, he walked towards the basket and instinctively closed his nose.

It's already been ten minutes since they've left Y/n and his brother to guard the cafe. With searching eyes, Lisa drags the stroller and stops just beside the man crouching to get a better view of the mysterious fruit. He looks invested.

The afternoon light bathed the fruit bowl, making the colorful selection even more inviting. With a leisurely pace, he approached the counter, drawn to the assortment of fruits. He paused for a moment, contemplating which combination of flavors would make the perfect fruit juice.

"Whatever you have, Emily," The little girl pulled out from underneath the stall a basket of fruits of all shapes and colors. Each little finger pointed at each fruit and said, "The black dragon fruit helps the fire-system spirit beast increase its attack power. The blue hedgehog helps the ice-system spirit beast increase its defense; the spiny hedgehog helps the spirit beast level up; I am not sure what effect the red avocado has. Most of them come from murky forests." "Heavy goods, yes?" Aoip asked.
